My 3 year old likes the water colour set very much and is too fond of it. He is with it practically the whole day! Has mix up all the colours by now but plays on his own and it keeps him engaged - thats what is important! Kids can use the colour set on their own and it is easy to handle. Does get messy at times, but that is expected. Will soon biy another one, the rate at which he is using up all the colous and I can see many empty blocks in the plate now!

Product is good but red colour is not there. Color which looks like red is a deep magenta color. Quality is good too, affordable and perfect for beginners.

Old style watercolor set like how you used to get in the 80s and 90s. Will work if your expectation is on those lines. If you paint half hour daily, maybe it will last a month or less. Writing after 4 or 5 painting sessions

As we are traveling, I got this for us for pass time. The colors are vibrant and nicely pigmented. But the cakes are much smaller than what you expect.

Every 4 or 5 year old wants to colour and paint and my kid is no different. Ever since she was given her first set of paints and brush, she loves scribbling in her colouring book. However, you can't expect such small kids to use a palette and all. This particular set of water colors is perfect for such small kids. They don't need to take out colours from a tube and mix and all. Just give them some water in a cup and they can spend hours with this. Don't expect colours to stay clean though since they'll mix everything up. But having this economical palette means you don't have to clean after they are done and they still get to paint. I have used up 3 or 4 already, these are the best for kids.

Useful sets for basic art classes for students. But the pigments are not as good as the 12 colour sets.
