Bought on 25th April, paint was bubbling and flaking initially after around a month but now completely fallen apart- I use it everyday on a fluffy Samoyed so blaster is never at high temperature to avoid overheating etc. Regardless of daily use, when paying this amount for a brush I’d expect it to last much longer!I’ve used CC brushes previously and never had an issue but this one isn’t fit for purpose. I’m unsure whether the materials used or manufacturing process has change, or this is simply a faulty item I’m extremely disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

This is an excellent brush for my dog’s hair and he is a long haired English Cocker Spaniel. It has thinner and softer bristles and the way it’s bent, makes it reached deep in the hair while not being painful

Bought it for my Japanese Spitz whom I home groom most of the year outside of a few booked appointments for blowout season. Having eyed the Chris C coral brush for a while but waiting for it to go on sale, I have previously been using a cheap slicker brush that had long bristles for the double-coat and long fur, which worked well enough to get the loose fur out, but she didn't like the feel of it (and she is 10 years old and very used to grooming). It was a lot spikier and snagged easily.This Big G brush feels amazing to use, is more light-weight, really gets in down to the skin on a long-haired double-coated dog without scratching or feeling painful and easily drags the trapped undercoat out from the dog's fur. It pulls less, works faster and overall its a much more pleasant experience grooming her at home. Myself and my dog are very happy with the purchase and appreciated that it wasn't as pricey as the older, classic big slicker brushes Chris C has. Although it says its really good for doodle-breeds, happy to report it is an excellent choice for long double-coats similar to Spitz, Samoyeds, Poms and GSDs.
