Most commercial hair products will trigger psoriasis on my scalp and I have been known to breakout in hives and cystic acne on my face back and neck. I can use a children’s shampoo a couple times a month for a soft cleanse. For years I have been making my own shampoo using herbs but I grew tired of the mess I create and the time it takes. I’ve used pre-maid herbal shampoos and rinses before but I was forced to give this product a try after my previous brand nearly doubled in cost. This herbal rinse is by far the best I’ve used so far and is also the most affordable. I have very thick hair that nearly reaches my belly button and it doesn’t take me a quarter of the bag to get my scalp clean either; just a few tablespoons is accurate description. I don’t make a paste though, and add more water so it spreads faster. I don’t have to mix it with another product to make it work but I do like to follow up with a ACV rinse and flax seed gel. I highly recommend you have great shower pressure to get rid of the powder completely. A retractable shower head may also be helpful. My skin is looking fantastic as well. Please support this company and try it out because I don’t want to have to do a deep sea search for another product.

I was buying the ingredients separately, but then saw that the company started selling them already mixed together. This saves me some time and space. I just add water to make a paste and use it like shampoo (be aware that it doesn’t suds like regular shampoo). Sometimes I add even more water to make a liquid and dunk my hair in it. Soapnut can be a little drying, so you can dilute this with hibiscus powder or red rose powder: that’s what I do. I use two heaping teaspoons of this and one heaping teaspoon of hibiscus or red rose. I massage it into my scalp thoroughly and rinse well. Conditioner is still needed.

I am not sure if it is the oils I use or this that makes my hair feel so nice in my shampoo bar. Either way, lovely! These ingredients are known for being very good for hair, that's why I chose this product. It delivered in such a nice way!

I have been trying to get away from synthetic shampoo and go natural. I have Dry 4C hair, and I color with henna. I used this product, and it moisturized my dry hair like nothing I have ever tried. For my hair, this was a game changer. Everyone is different. It cleaned and moisturized. I was pleasantly surprised!

Doesn't lather at all . Even after shampooing with it thrice , the hair is still greasy . And after rinsing the product thoroughly from the hair , there is some powdery residue left in your hair .
