Quiet and Nice Upgrade for Our Bathroom
We added this Braun-NuTone bathroom exhaust fan to a bathroom that previously didn’t have one, and so far we’ve been really happy with it. My husband installed it himself and said the installation process went fairly smoothly. The fan looks clean and modern and does a good job helping remove humidity from the bathroom after showers. It also seems well made and works exactly as expected so far. One of the biggest things we noticed is how quiet it is compared to another bathroom fan we have in the house. Our other one is much louder, while this one has a softer and less disruptive sound when running. Overall we’ve been very pleased with it so far. It’s been a really nice addition to the bathroom and seems like a solid quality fan.

Aluminum wires! Have to use special Alumiconn connectors
I am a 20 year-old very small women, and I installed this completely by myself with no issues. The hardest part of installing this was taking out my old bathroom vent. The installation was very easy. I looked on the reviews when I noticed that the fan had aluminum wires and no one else in the reviews seem to mention it so I wanted to make sure that I talk about the fact that this fan has aluminum wires. There’s no problem with the fan having aluminum wires in itself, but you cannot directly connect aluminum wires to copper house wires. The wires in my attic and all throughout my house or copper, which is majority and most homes and you cannot directly connect aluminum to copper or else it can create a chemical reaction and start a fire. On Amazon, you can order these two port Alumiconn connectors to connect the copper and aluminum wires safely. This step is absolutely necessary so you don’t accidentally start a fire. I also had to extend the electrical wires in my attic, so can reach to the other side of the box, but in most cases you won’t have to do this. Other than having to wait for the proper connectors to arrive, the installation was very fast and very easy in my opinion. One thing to note also is that the screws that come with the bathroom fan are weaker and get stripped easier. So just be cautious to not accidentally strip the screws while installing. I made sure to buy the same brand as my old fan so that the fitting was the same size. The fan is great. It’s very quiet. Sometimes I don’t even notice it’s on and the airflow is very good during my showers. The mirrors were not fogged at all, and it keeps all of the moisture out of my bathroom so there’s no bad mildew smells and amounts of moisture that can cause mold. I definitely recommend this fan personally I think it’s great for anyone doing this sort of thing for the first time but just be sure to get the proper connectors for aluminum two copper wires.

So quiet!
I previously had a Broan bath fan that was old and super loud. Like, couldn't hear anything but the fan when it was on. If someone stood outside the bathroom talking it was impossible to hear. So I set out to find a quiet version that would take up the same real estate. Because I already had a Broan, I figured another by the same company ought to fit into the same opening. In fact, it did! This made installation very easy. The only trouble I had was getting the old fan out, and running the new exhaust line. This fan has a cover to give it a nice, clean look and best of all, it's nearly silent! Now you can hear someone speaking from pretty much any room in the house. I don't have any data on whether it moves more or less air than the old one, but it does seem to be keeping shower steam at bay. I consider this a very good upgrade if you are looking for a quiet replacement to retrofit in place of an old Broan.

Is it on?
A big upgrade compared to the cheap one my house came with. Much quieter with greater airflow, almost direct replacement and straight forward installing. The exhaust cover is more functional and modern looking which is a plus.

Quiet Power, Effortless Upgrade
This Broan-NuTone bathroom exhaust fan is a fantastic upgrade—installation was surprisingly easy, even without attic access. It runs very quietly at just 1.5 sones while still doing an excellent job clearing out moisture and odors. A reliable, efficient solution that makes a noticeable difference right away.

We have learned our lesson and we are sticking with industry leader brand!
This 80 c f m model outperforms what was supposed to be a super quiet 100 c f m model. Unlike my last one, this one is completely serviceable and we can trade out the motor a decade from now. We had a unique situation that we had to trade out the entire unit on the last one out because of the way it was built. Was supposed to be premium and let me tell you, it wasn't. We are so happy with this one and the amount of moisture it removes and how quiet it is. One of the best things on our install with our unique situation is every single metal flange that comes on this box can be bent backwards simply by using your fingers, making it adjustable and malleable to almost in every entire situation with no tools to bend the metal housing.
