This is a package of medical cotton balls. Unlike cotton balls you would use for makeup, these are wrapped in a netting. This ensures that thcotton stays together and doesn't get caught in a wound. These aren't really geared towards cleaning, etc. These are more meant to use on a wound to soak up blood. You'd use these, and secure them with medical tape. When they say a three pack, they mean that each individual package in this set contiains 3 bals each.

Very good sterile swabs for all of your first aid needs. Being sterile, they are much safer for various types of wound care. They are cotton balls wrapped in a net like casing. Stays clean without leaving little strips of cotton behind. Each packet is individually wrapped for extra safety. There are three swabs in each packet. A very necessary item to pack in all of your first aid kits, be they at home, work, or even in your car.

Uan Sterile Swab Balls a three cotton ball pack of twenty packs came in a small box and a little squished but taking them out of the box and putting them in my bathroom drawer and med kit works. Each pack is about four inches by four inches. They are cotton balls wrapped in gauze. Perfect for small bites, nicks and cuts to stem the bleeding. There is no little wisps of cotton getting caught in the wound anymore because the gauze doesn't shed. Really a smart idea. Will be buying more when I run out of these. A little pricey but for the convenience it is worth it.

I've only had to use these a couple times, but they are excellent for cleaning wounds that have dirt or debris stuck in them. I've used these for raspberries and scrapes while playing soccer.
