Initial Thoughts (and later)
Camera has just arrived, so no opinion of photo quality yet. Initial impression is that it is a solid camera, certainly not a lightweight, obviously has a lot of metal in the construction. As several have said, the increased cost to get the "starter bundle" is a rip-off, what you get certainly not worth the extra cost. However, this camera is somewhat hard to find, and I went ahead and purchased this set, paying the extra cost, to get the camera. My biggest issue, and this is not unique to this camera, is no owners manual at all, not even a getting started flyer. This is not a camera easily figured out without guidance. I look forward to using it and perhaps adding to this review. Have used this camera for several months now. Much more complicated than it has to be, but most things are now. In auto mode, to activate autofocus you must depress shutter release almost fully, so many photos not fully focused. Also, photo quality is disappointing, not as good as I thought it would be. Dark/light dial useful. Overall, I don't think the camera worth the cost, does not live up to the ratings.

Send a used camera
I was sent a used camera!! There’s already 2500 shots on this unit and there’s nearly a $1,000 up charge! I would not have paid that if I knew the I was buying a second hand cam! The box was clearly pre opened and there are accessories missing! I just looked through the entire listing and nowhere is it mentioned that I’m buying refurbished or used equipment.
