Even after one wash, her coat is soft and shiny; it really doesn't have a scent, but what I could smell wasn't unpleasant. Unless I didn't read the instructions properly, it doesn't say whether to use weekly or once a month. Anyway, I checked with the vet, and she said the ingredients are gentle enough to wash her once a week until she is back to normal.
