I am not sure about others. But I am buying this antenna to specifically increase my netgear C3700 dual band modem/combo. This modem/router is very stable, the problem was the internal antennas.... So this product help me to increased the range as well as getting more stable connection in short range. I got about -9 dbm or more increased which I am satisfied. Installation was easy, I am only putting this on dual 5ghz band, 2.4 was always good... I don't really use 2.4 anyway. Good product, good price.The antenna is huge, but that's why I like it, it really helps with the range.This kit comes with all the parts you need, just need to drill a small hole to install them correctly.

Boosted to improve bluetooth performance on a Mac mini 2012. Connection to J1 of the Broadcom card was easy with included cable. Only had to drill one hole to mount the new jack. Included antenna now allows perfect bluetooth connection on room away. Was always difficult to use keyboard and touchpad to control Mac mini at that range. Had to hold the trackpad and keyboard in just the right orientation and position.Before adding this antenna and cable, that would drop signal badly enough that cursor tracking stuttered. Smooth after the new antenna.Package comes with 2 antennas and 2 cables, but only used one set because J1 is the only antenna connector involved with Bluetooth signals. All three are used for wifi. So, the J1 connection has a side benefit of improved WiFi signal as well. If WiFi signal improvement is goal, it may be better to connect another antenna to J0 or J2 on the Broadcomm card.

For the money I paying and does a good job, i cant complain.

I did not realize how long these antennas would be. About as long as your arm! I have my wi-fi router sitting on a shelf and the antennas would not fit under the above shelve. They do give you a stronger signal...verified by my cell phone app that tests wi-fi connections. I pull -30dB on the power scale and the router is in another room 3 walls away. Not to bad... Feels like I can pull in wi-fi signals from Canada! If you got weak transmission problems and have the room... these are a good buy. I would not use them as drum sticks though...

Well I've had Wi-Fi issues throughout my house and I'm too lazy to run a wire to add an access point. Picked these up and they're working great. Can get signal in my garage no problem now

Installed easy but when I did, I lost all WiFi. Like the router didn’t recognize it was on or had an antenna. Maybe it works for you. Maybe not. I checked all the specs and made sure this was the right one. Still went from mediocre signal to NO signal.

I purchased this kit to replace my existing short antenna on IP/NVR security camera system. However; this item does not work as it supported to. My existing short antennas are stronger than this new one after I tried replaced, then I have to removed this new antennas out of the system due to kept saying "poor signal". But this is a good try.

I give this product the benefit of the doubt although the cabling does not fit my network card so I'm unable to test this the way I wanted to test it. However I was able to test one of the antennas as a replacement antenna on one of my other devices and it works perfectly
