I had this brand on my wish list for 2 years and I finally bought one. coffee grinds find their way under the supposedly "sealed" stainless cup but the timing controls, motor and cap seems good You need to tap the plastic top to remove the ground beans and I am a little nervous of it cracking one day but ... the taste of the beans is better so 4 stars unless I change that down the road.

I have used the bigger cuisinart burr grinder for years until it failed me a few weeks ago. So I opted for the Shardor grinder with the digital timer display because I was looking for a more compact sized one. The first time I used it, I didn't even realize it was working because it was so quiet. And it ground my beans to perfection. It's been only a few weeks, but I so far I highly recommend it.

Overall decent for the price Was looking for a quick efficient coffee grinder and that’s exactly what I got. Seems someone complain that even though the product claims to “quite” that even their neighbors could hear them grind coffee, for me personally don’t really have that issue noise is only noticeable if you’re right next to the machine, from my dinning room (right next to my kitchen) is pretty much the only room you can hear it. Though I do want to mention does get rattly when grinding full beans to alleviate that I just put a kitchen cloth under and dampens the noise considerably. For those who want something even more quiet you’d pretty much need a hand grinder. It’s is decently easy to clean, but I find it weird that randomly there will be coffee dust around the mane motor even though nothing I do besides the main grinding is over the grind with leads me to believe there is a small gap in between the blender cup, the blade and the motor/blending base. Did also see a review say that it regular clumps to the cup for that I just used the old YouTube trick of just lightly misting my beans with water, to my knowledge most grinders have clumping but for this small but open machine (it’s pretty much a blender) it’s more visible. Capacity is fine for everyday use. My only real complaint is the interface for first time use is weird, doesn’t give much of a grind setting and instead is measured by seconds. But after the first couple uses just found out for my uses (espresso) the 30 seconds it’s default to is perfectly fine for whole beans and semi ground coffee.
