Great motor packaged well and it will run on 120 volt power or 220 volt power single phase just look at the manual to see what wires to bundle up together and which wires to change to reverse direction. Really nice. Only thing I have to say negative is that the knock out holes on the box are darn near impossible to get out. I had to remove the box and use a milling machine to cut out the 7/8” hole for wire.

I was able to modify this motor to a face mount . They no longer made the motor I had so this motor saved me 2 thousand $, and saved a 8 thousand dollar SCM wood lathe. Thanks VEVOR

I want to thank Brandi for the review that gave me the correct wiring directions. The motor so far is excellent and revived my broken, old craftsman table saw. The wiring instructions are terrible and cost the review one star. If not for Brandi I would have returned the product. Thank you.

I bought it as a replacement motor for my Sears - Craftsman 10" Table Saw. The specs matched with regard to 1.5HP and 3450 RPM and another reviewer said it was a direct-bolt replacement. Having said that, the motor comes with 6 internal wires and a ground terminal all which need to be wired to your own 3-wire cord. It's up to you to decipher the chart as to whether you're going to run in 120v or 230v, as well as Clockwise or Counterclockwise rotation. So, you'll be staring at the chart for that a while and basically figuring out which 3 wires go to the hot wire of your own cord and which other three go to the neutral (for two sets of 4 wires nutted together total). The directions say it's pre-wired for 120v but, after studying, mine was clearly set for 230. It also hinted that it may be set for Counterclockwise rotation but mine was clockwise. Other than that, the motor is larger than my original and did bolt up fine however, the larger motor size pushed the shaft sideways out of alignment with the pully on the table saw. I simply flipped the pully the opposite direction on the motor to ride closer to the motor housing and got both pullies to line up. Minor note: Since the motor comes with a wire box and punch hole for your power cord, I wish it came with a cable clamp for the box. Looking forward to another 30 years of use out of my table saw.

Works like it should, was shocked how fast it got here, it was packed well, knock outs could be stamped a little better it was like trying to get the government to do something , getting them out of the junction box , worth the money

Wired motor for 120 for an old air compressor. Bogged the lights in the garage down on first start then popped the fuse on second start. Im pretty confident one of the wires was missing labeled. Ill mess with it a little but probably gonna send it back.

Sipped and delivered ahead of schedule. Bench tested with amp meter and works beautifully! Will be installing on equipment with full confidence now! No problem with knockout in other reviews and wiring diagram for 120vac running at 9.6 amps = /- given my amp meter hasn't been calibrated in a while.
