This toy will definitely impress my 6 yr old. It is so cool to see mythical creatures given physical form. The tail is somewhat flexible, so he should be able to use the snake in battles, too.

Despite what the description says, this is not a Hieracosphinx, but a Gryphon. Regardless, this is a beautifully detailed figure. I can't wait to see my D&D group's faces when I drop this on the table! It's not really scaled for D&D, but if it was, I'd call it Huge.It is somewhat flexible and should last a good long time of generating fantasy dreams and tales!
