Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter

Got the genuine apple so not to worry if and for how long it would perform...Yes, it was more expensive than the non apple brands but as I need to rely on it for pro work I am not taking chances. (I did get a non apple too that seems to work as well., as a back up)So this works to connect my Volt2 pro audio usb interface to my iphone se 3rd gen lightning port and record pro audio using twisted wave. It has a port to connect the power supply as well for the phone, and I use another separate power cable to power the volt2 interface.I also use the usb port on it afterwards to get the recorded files onto an external sd card using a usb sd adapter.

Original Apple Item! Works perfectly. Plugs into iPhone or iPad lightning port and transfers data through the USB 3.0 port. Allows charging through the lightning port.

So far so good. Works well and saves lots of time!

This Camera works perfectly to connect a iPhone to any DJ Controller for DJing. They do make other similar adapters which are much cheaper, but they aren’t compatible. Very good adapter !

This lightning cable sometimes work most of the time doesn't work. Having issue from the first day arrived. The Main use of the USB Lightning cable to send music from digital PianoTeq8, and Sunday Sounds apps which download from the Apple Store I just a head it, two apps that I cannot use 1 Costing over 200 and the other about 150 and I can use it due the lightning cable not working. Not the first one buying the USB- and having troubles. With this issue. However, we I us8 version for Window on my Surface Pro 8 the application work fine. Therefore, I know that cables other connection is ruining fine expect the Lightning Cable which every time there is an update the stop working, Apple Generation 9 and Lightning Cable it's the worst Investment can be done for Music Software. With this adapter, a high-quality USB-A to USB-B cable, and an old 12 watt Samsung charger with a Lightning plug to power this adapter, I successfully connected an iPhone SE2 to a Peachtree DAC-ITx and it sounded great.Using an unpowered Apple Camera adapter (Lightning to USB-A) and a USB-A to USB-B cable, the phone said that the attached Peachtree 24/192 device required too much power. With this powered adapter I didn't try other chargers (such as an old 5 watt Apple charger) to know how little or how much power was required.FYI, I successfully connected a Galaxy S24 phone to this same DAC without a powered adapter. Using simply a USB-C to USB-B cable was sufficient.

Works as expected to connect iPad as an audio source to a DAC. It is expensive for what it is.
