I’d go for the Matte alternative
It’s a good product, but can make your face look a little shiny. I personally think the other matte alternative absorbs better.

Horace facial moisturiser - a great addition to my routine
This Horace facial moisturiser is a lite non greasy moisturiser which leaves my face feeling protected from the elements (great British winter). I imagine it will be good for warmer weather too. A very small amount applied in the morning lasts me all day. I can recommend it!

Good for very dry localised areas
The moisturiser is described as unscented; that doesn't mean it doesn't have smell. There is no "perfume" but there is a noticeable chemical smell. Although the smell is quite strong, it fades quickly. The cream has to be squeezed from the tube. The aperture is quite small and the cream is thick and heavy, unlike in the manufacturer's picture which shows a soft runny cream. The small aperture does allow a small amount of cream to be extracted, avoiding waste. The cream is not easily nor quickly absorbed into the skin. It requires a lot of effort to work it in. I have quite a sensitive skin but didn't experience any irritation or discomfort. I intended awarding 3 stars but I used the cream on my nose which had dried excessively from sun and wind. Within 24 hours, the cream had dramatically restored my nose to something approaching normality. I hope you found this review useful.
