Fun on a Budget!
I am new to guitar this year and very new to pedals. Thus I researched budget pedals and took a chance on several, including this one. Since I have no idea of a comparison with an expensive pedal, I can only say that this is fun and at this price it’s no risk.This USDream pedal was an add-on purchase because it was extremely budget. It’s a different drive sound than a Behringer TO800 pedal I have (also budget at about twice the price) Regardless of sound style, I like this one better because I can actually tell the change in effect when each individual dial is turned. I’m having fun with it.Very happy buyer.

Great sound for price
Never know what to expect at this price, but I was pleasantly surprise. Enough breakup to get some warm distorted tones without unwanted noise. True bypass works. Simple and just want I was looking for.

Does not work!
I wish that I knew if it worked. I purchased first crunch pedal thought it was a great price since I am a beginner. The first pedal did not work would not even turn on. I WAS ABLE TO RETURN FOR ANOTHER PEDAL THAT ALSO DID NOT WORK. Very excited about learning and practicing some new songs I now am just going to go to guitar center and purchase a good distortion pedal. I guess you get what you pay for. Lesson learned!

a lot of fun to use around the house stacked pedals make it more interesting impossible to beat the price and that's about it

UGHHH ITS SO GOOD.
EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. I've been wanting to learn some type O songs for awhile, and this pretty much covers the distortion for that!

Ease of use
There's plenty of adjustment, has a light crunch sound, and crank it up for a nasty crunch sound. Which is great for playing leads.

Cheap purchase for the novice
The tone is okay but you get what you pay for. The volume attenuator doesn't put out much volume unless the gain and tone knobs are between 2 and 5 o'clock. The Tone attenuator doesn't really change the tone until about 3 o'clock...
