size issue

Sorts looks great as presented but there is size issue. I’m wearing size M usually, while amazon recommended L. Yet, XL looks skinny on me and now I’m thinking to go for XXL or XXXL?? (I’m only 77kg, 1.78m) Will update if I’m getting a replacement.

Beware: XL sizes like a tiny M

The sizing on this item is absolutely wrong. I ordered XL, and it sizes like an M at best. I could wear those shorts as underwear. That's how tight they are. Also, the touch doesn't feel like 100% cotton. If it is 100% cotton, then the fibre must be coated in something.
