Fit and function. Happy with the purchase.
Works great on my Southbend lathe. Should have purchased years ago. Replaced my mighty mag and travel indicator. Easy to slide out of the way. Great product and good value for the price.

Expensive but performs very well
Item works very well except chips stick to magnets but are easy to wipe off. Decent quality dial indicator with smooth motion.

Great tool for lathes
I am a toolmaker. Sometimes with magnetic bases or mighty mags, it can be hard to place right where you need. This tool is extremely nice because it sits right on the ways. And you can change the dial indicator out to a longer one if needed. As long as the backplate bolt holes line up with the holes on this tool. The magnets that hold this tool on the ways are nice and strong.
