Excellent stick, worthwhile upgrade over the non-Elite
Mayflash makes sticks that offer very high value proposition with solid build quality, excellent performance, easy moddability, and wide system compatibility. They also have a strong track record of improving the firmware years after release. The F300/F500 are old (released 2015/2016) but have had firmware updates most recently in April 2024 to add L3/R3 support and a little before that to improve input lag to 1.4 ms. Changes over the non-Elite F700 (you can read reviews of that one too, just note the differences here): - Lever is the Sanwa JLF, harness is 5-pin JST instead of 0.187" fastener - Buttons are Sanwa OBSF-30 - Non-slip mat covers entire bottom surface - Classic Mayflash beige colourway for the Elite line The value for the extra $30 is justified as the cost of buying the components would far exceed that, so if you don't have a replacement prepared, this is a worthwhile upgrade over the non-Elite. Whether the grey-black Sanwa parts and beige case is to your liking is up to you. It's slightly wider than the F500 at 14.5" which makes it quite comfy on the lap, especially with the full-coverage mat. Main advantages over the competition: - Wide system compatibility in wireless format. - Solid input lag wired and over 2.4G. As reported by Mayflash: 1-5 ms wired (excellent), 6-8 ms over 2.4G (good), 13-18 ms over BT (iffy). Will update review if third-party measurements become available. Main drawbacks: - L3/R3 require pushing two small buttons, they are not separate buttons. - PS5 compatibility is in PS4 legacy mode, which means all PS4 games work but only PS5 games that enable legacy support work -- this includes most fighting games (search online to see whether your game will work, or play the PS4 version). Note that this is true for all non-officially-licensed sticks, and is what the Brook Wingman FGC and Mayflash Magic S Ultimate do as well. - Changing components requires unscrewing the bottom (6 screws, pretty typical). Not a big deal but if you want to frequently change you may want a stick with a tool-less pop-open design. Other notes: - Artwork under the plexi is changeable but requires detaching buttons. Template is available both on the Mayflash site as well as Focus Attack. - Lever mount matches the JLF plate. There's plenty of room for essentially any J-lever or low-collar K-lever. This will not fit full-collar K-levers without modifying the metal plate and plexi. - Built-in autofire frequencies are kind of odd: 5/15/25 Hz. For shmups you'd really like to see 10 Hz and 30 Hz. Overall, it's a very solid feature package and build for $180. You won't find the same feature set in anything of a similar price, and I'd consider more expensive retail sticks to mostly be sidegrades if you prefer the look or material (e.g. you want a metal top). I've been happy with my F500 for several years and can see myself using this over the long term as well.

Very nice wireless arcade stick.
Excelent build quality, sits comfortable on your lap. Good battery life and easy setup on different systems thanks to the knob style switch and tri mode connection protocol (wired, BT and wireless dongle). My only complain is the way the R3 and L3 buttons are pressed, instead of being mapped to a single button they're instead mapped to the TURBO + SELECT and TURBO + START buttons. I believe arcade sticks benefit greatly from having 1 or 2 extra buttons at the top or bottom of the main 8 button layout for a quicker press and avoid awkward button presses like this.

Great stick
Never had a arcade stick, I like lever less but wanted to try a stick, I also play on both PC and PlayStation 5 so I wanted something that I could use for both and this does that wonderfully, when I initially took it out of the box I could not find the USB dongle until I realized that it was stuck to the magnet inside the compartment on the roof. It was very hard to see because it matched the color and blended right in so I had a moment of disappointment because I wanted to use it wirelessly however crisis averted I also bought a knob to replace the ball and am gonna attempt to install it aswell, this thing is definitely hefty but feels nice, my only worry is the wire compartment feels like it could break very easily at the hinges but overall feels like a great deal and can be modded

Works well enough but I have one concern
I have been wanting to purchase a new Arcade stick for a while as the one I already have in my possession is pretty outdated and not compatible with current gen consoles. The MayFlash Arcade Stick F700 Elite piqued my interest for a few different reasons: It was compatible with the PS5, it has Sanwa buttons, and the biggest pull for me compared to other available joysticks was it was wireless. Though I wasn't to keen on the price, the wireless component is what ultimately sold it for me and so I jumped with the purchase. Initially, I felt like it was much smaller than my SF4 TE Stick but on further inspection they are pretty close with the TE stick being slightly flatter with the two sides jutting out further. The acrylic top on the Elite 700 isn't as glossy as the TE and with it being clear it leaves a visible streak from my hand movements. After a long period of use I've started to ignore it but it really stood out to me at first. As far as the button layout, the absence of a two sanwa button select/start is greatly felt as the buttons used for them are pretty small and not even placed together. I liked not having to look for these buttons while I played so it's something I thought needed mentioning. With that being said, it is nice to have a home button again which is something I had to let go of when I modded the TE stick to use a zero-delay usb encoder. Ironically, my initial intention which was using this to play games on my PS5 has yet to really happen as mainly just tested the wireless adapter for a little and found that it worked pretty well. Most of my time spent with this joystick has been on PC testing out arcade games using MAME, and the Final Burn Neo emulator. The stick is detected as an Xbox controller which has made it fairly easy to switch between it and my Dual Sense controller. My TE had an issue with directional controls when trying to play Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on the RPCS3 emulator but the 700 Elite worked without a hitch. Outside of the minor complaints my biggest concern currently with the 700 Elite is the bluetooth connection. It has intermittently dropped the connection during both gameplay and controller configuration. My dual sense had a similar problem but this was remedied by connecting my bluetooth antennas and maxing the polling rate which is available in an application. As far as I know, Mayflash doesn't have such an application that is available and I'm unaware of what the polling rate is. I tried to do a quick search for this information but Mayflash doesn't seem to have provided this information. It could be that my iphone's bluetooth is cause of the interference as I noticed it occurred once when I grabbed it so I'll will try disabling it during play to see if that makes a difference. Outside of the the issues with connection drops from the bluetooth, I've been pretty happy with the joystick. It is nice to have a wireless joystick that works with my PC and PS5 and I've begun trying to do a two player setup with the 700 Elite and the TE in hopes that I'll be able to get some arcade couch play going sometime soon.

A serious performance fight stick
I own a few other fight sticks...some of which are of a higher price point, in fact. But I wanted something that I could use across a multitude of devices. The F700 Elite came recommended to me in a Facebook group dedicated to fighting game enthusiasts, so I knew I was getting solid advice. After testing it out, I can see what the fuss is about. This is about as versatile as a fight stick can be. It works with several devices and offers a ton of unique features such as rapid fire. The whole unit is remarkably well made...it just feels like it was painstakingly crafted to suit even the most discriminating fighting gamer. Perfect for 1v1 games, I mostly use it with Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat entries, and the new King of Fighters title. Literally zero complaints. I'm absolutely elated with this purchase!

Relive the arcade experience
MAYFLASH F700 Elite has the right feel and heft, and is a quality made product. It reminded me of my arcade experience from the late 70's and early 80's. It works great with my laptop through Bluetooth. I love it.

Quality build. Great for multiple systems.
Solid stick for the money. Has a nice amount of weight, and feels like a quality product. I can't stand cheap light weight plastic junk. Tested compatibility on PS4 (Wired & 2.4Ghz) as well as Nintendo Switch (BT) and it worked flawless on both. The device selection knob, and input toggle switches are perfect in my opinion. They make switching to another system a breeze. I thought about just getting the F700, but Sanwa parts are worth the extra money to me. If your looking to customize, you may be better off going with the 700 series, then making all your changes. I think that would be the cheaper route if you intend to customize. I only have about 10 hours on this box, but so far so good! No regrets yet!

OG arcade components
The coolest arcade stick a kid could want, and why would anyone want to grow up? Seriously though, these are all the components that arcades used to use in their sticks, this is the real deal and I don't see myself selling or parting with it anytime soon. That said, it is a bit expensive and I'm still bad at fighting games. Bluetooth has noticeable button delay. The top is a clear cover held down by magnets so custom art can be displayed.

Excellent wireless arcade controls
I use this on my MiSTerFPGA and on my PC. For some reason, Bluetooth doesn't quite work right w/ the MiSTer (pairing works, reconnection fails), so I use the included 2.4GHz dongle on the MiSTer, and I use Bluetooth for my PC (which works w/o issue). I installed the included 8-way restrictor plate almost immediately, and it really does help. The job was easy & only required a Philips head screwdriver for removing the bottom plate & securing it again afterward. The stick & buttons feel good to me & I doubt I'll be motivated to upgrade anything on this device anytime soon -- which was the main point of getting the F700 Elite over the F700. In fact the whole device feels like a quality unit, and I think it looks really sharp. The games really do hit different with arcade controls! I feel confident that I chose well here, and I recommend this product unreservedly.
