Great design, almost.
I bought these hangers because in the profile view I could see that their was molded pin or catch midway in the hanger. After receiving them Perhaps I'm missing something in the use of these brackets but I don't think so. I tested the Hangz bracket off the wall by hooking it to the frame hanger on the floating frame -- it fit nicely with very little revealing through the glass! BUT, when I secured the bracket to the wall with the nails the zigzag frame hanger no longer reached the molded pin you see in the profile view -- it rested on the nails and barely might I add. This makes it unsecured with this common zigzag hanger. I was really hoping the zigzag hanger would rest on the pin that is molded into the Hangz bracket like it does when its off the wall. Because the frame hanger is resting on the nails more of the bracket is showing through the glass. I'm going to try and drill an angled hole right over the Hangz logo so I can put a nail below the molded pin. If this works these will be nice brackets as they are petite, slender and solid at the same time. I love the little pins for setting the pin before nailing. The manufacturer should consider putting the nail holes below the molded pin and the logo at the top.

What the pros use
I didn't know much about these little guys. But we had some relatively expensive 'museum quality' art installed in our house. These are not canvas but wood that fits flush against the wall with the sawtooth hooks. The actual artist came with these. He said he had hung all his shows for 20 years and that this is what they actually use in the galleries for exhibits. All you need is a level to make sure you have the two hooks (if you have too) aligned and everything is perfect. Very large 30lb + wood and small pieces, it's all perfect.

Finally! A way to hang pictures on plaster walls!
I live in a 100-year old house with plaster walls. Traditional picture hangers just don't work well in my walls! They often bend when I try to hammer them in. I've also tried nails and screws, only to have some of them fall out when I try to hang the pictures! These HangZ sawtooth picture hooks looked interesting, so I decided to give them a try. They work!! I am amazed! They are easy to install because they have little spikes to hold the hanger in place until you nail it in (no more smashing my fingers with a hammer while trying to hold the hanger!). The nails actually go in without bending (I think it's partly due to the angle and partly to the quality of the metal). And they hold the picture in place! I've successfully used these on walls in different areas of my house and with both wire and sawtooth hangers. It's easy to get the pictures to hang level, too. Glad I bought the package of 100 because I'm planning to replace all the traditional hangers in use! Thank you for picture hangers that do the job!

Great! With one tweak for Plaster Walls
At first I was not impressed with these as I have old sturdy plaster walls. The spikes on the back would not push all the way into my walls and as such, they would barely hold. After some fooling I decided to push the hanger into the wall and hammer the nails into the whole, after that I removed them and hammered them in as usual.

Fairly foolproof
These made hanging a few canvases in our nursery fairly foolproof. You still have to be sure to get them level and centered, but having the pins to hold it to the wall while hammering in the nails definitely made things quicker and easier. Our canvases came with sawtooth hangers already attached that we had to bend outward a bit in order to get the HangZ hooks to work, so beware you may have some issues if you aren't using HangZ sawtooth hangers as well.

Seems sturdy
I have not had a chance to use these yet, but they arrived quickly and seem VERY sturdy - they are quite thick, not flimsy at all. I have no doubt they will properly hold as they should.

The nails aren't long enough in my opinion. Also it feels like the nail holes should be lower so that the gripper has more length to grab the picture frame.

It works well
Great for hanging those pics that have a sawtooth hanger near the top of the frame

Good product.
Easy to use, I like that it can mark the wall and stay in position while you add the nails due to two small spikes on the back. It's about time someone made a nice, easy strong way to hang frames with those sawtooth hangers on the back.
