What a great game!!!
Wow was I pleasantly surprised by this game. Yea the components are cheap with very thin cardboard punch outs, but I just sleeved them into some coin holders. The artwork is amazing and the game is fun as hell. I loved the unique mechanics. A great product at a ridiculously great price. Love it!!

Fun Game with Marvel Comics Cover Art
Excellent game. Minor component quibbles keep this from being 5 stars, but for the gameplay it is a great set collection game with a fun theme and awesome art.

Great game
It's a great game, easy and funny (especially for real comics collectors who recognize the covers), and it's very cheap and simple to play. The only issue is that I ordered a second copy for a friend, and it arrived with a slight dent in a corner of the box.

Disappointing – received a damaged item.
Unfortunately, I’ve once again received a damaged product. The shipping box was intact, but the game box has a noticeable dent, and the game board itself is also bent. While I would prefer a replacement, the cost of international return shipping exceeds the actual value of the product. Very frustrating—especially when you’re looking forward to enjoying a new game in perfect condition.

Amazingly fun game! Some of the worst components!
Right off the bat: I REALLY, REALLY LIKE THIS GAME! Now, the components: -Box arrived fresh, in an Amazon bag, and the corners are already showing wear. - Cards, fresh out of the box are already nicked. And I immediately sleeved and protected them - The chips are smaller than a dime and thinner too, very easy to lose if you are not careful. -Some artwork/cards are either blurred or the resolution is not great. -Some key rules are a single, non-highlighted, sentence included in an example. (See: Highlight Track, VERY important). -Mostly just Marvel Cinematic Universe characters (only 8 total). Positives: -Fun at all player counts. I love it solo! -Easy to teach. -After the first time playing, setup and take down is very simple. -Scoring is rather easy. -Lots of opportunities for each player to rise. -4 different kinds of drafting opportunities, so there is a lot to shake up and always learn. As a whole, I recommend this to gamers who will baby and take care of their games. Losing pieces is easy. I, personally, needed to use card sleeves immediately. If you are OK with the inescapable production issues, this is a super fun game. But it will let you down if you are not aware of how fragile it physically is.

So fun- buy now
Our family are big board game lovers and this is a absolute new favorite with us all. Really fun and unique design and the fact that its real comic book covers makes it even more fun. Very unique style and play. Well worth the investment

Hunting for this rare gem
As a comic book collector and a board gamer, this is a grway mash up of the hobby. Sad that the quality is lpwer than the average, but itnis understandable and in no way does it make the game unplayable. A great game that I am happy that I could get here in the Philippines.

Fun but cheaply made.
This isn't a bad game. It's not a perfect game either but it has some interesting ideas. This review won't be on the game itself but do note that I find the game fun. The reason for the 2 star review is mainly because the game was made poorly. Tokens are cheap cardboard and are very small. Cards are made from cheap stock. Played with a friend when we first got this game and after one playthrough the cards looked like we'd played this game a hundred times. I get this game isn't very expensive but I'd rather have spent a little extra if it were made with better material. I ended up sleeving all the cards, which I admit does make the cards seem like sleeved comics, but consumers shouldn't have to purchase anything extra just to fix an issue with longevity. Do note that if you do end up purchasing from Amazon, there could be issues with board game damage. My first copy had a very large noticeable scratch on the front of the game box. I got another copy from Amazon and had literally the same issue, actually it was a bit worse. Amazon made it right but just know that might be an issue. I do recommend playing this game with one small suggestion, sleeve the cards if you plan to keep this in your collection for more than a few playthroughs.

Not new looking
Game was not wrapped new, so the corners of the box was a little scuffed

Great game with a publisher who takes care of customers.
First off I want to say how great Spinmaster Customer service is. I had a small parts issue and they took care of it immediately and to my complete satisfaction. I was very impressed. The game. It's a very good game. I am a major player of board games from Twilight Imperium to Century Wonders to Agricola. And this is a fine and fun game. It captures the theme of comic collecting, which I've dabbled in, really well. The rulebook is easy to read and does a good job to help you play. It only gets a bit convoluted as there are rules changes in setups at different stages for different player counts. But they have good illustrations of this so it's not hard to figure out. The artwork copies the marvel superheroes theme and the tags of covers offer so much fun amd frustration as you choose a strategy to collect all of a certain hero, or all versus issues, or many small sets, may be rewarded or thwarted as other players get the issues you want, or take them today, only to later put them back into a flea market. Its a great game. Family weight rules that kids can play, but can be very deep strategically for gamers as you analyze what to take now, but then forced to sell back into the market later to get something better for the strategy you've chosen. But putting those issues back, may now give your opponents great chances. For families, just collect the artwork you like. You'll have plenty if fun amd still get a good score. May even win this way. It's an easy five star rating.

Mala calidad de componentes
La calidad de los componentes dan mucho de que hablar por qué el juego no es nada barato lo único decente es el tablero pero vale mucho la pena por las mecánicas del juego y es un excelente filler

Terrible quality
Game came with all corners dinted. Seals both broken so box was clearly opened. And a large sticker on the front of the box

Fun game with a few components issues
We’ve been really enjoying Comic Hunters. Think of it as a more beefed up version of Sushi Go where you will be drafting cards in different ways to create a valuable comic collection. You score points based on the size of your comic collection, what features they have (Is it a #1 issue? Does it feature a character in a new costume?), and which characters are most desirable. If you like the theme of collecting comics, or if you’re a Marvel fan you’ll enjoy this one. Each card also depicts a different comic cover, so I imagine it was a bit of a nightmare getting this game licensed with that much artwork. You’ll need a bigger sized table especially for the Convention draft where you have to set out a 5x5 grid of cards. The production quality could be better. I’ve heard some nightmare stories where people had miscut or duplicate cards, but my cards all looked good. The actual card quality is quite poor and definitely won’t survive constant shuffling, so I would STRONGLY recommend using card sleeves (I use standard Ultra Pro Pro Mattes). The tokens are kind of flimsy, made out of thin cardboard, but they are serviceable for what they do as they just sit on the board. The game box was a little banged up as it just had clear stickers keeping the box closed as opposed to full shrink wrap. Keep in mind though, that I bought this game for $33 Canadian…which is kind of a steal for a boardgame. Sure, I would have gladly payed $5-10 more if it had better components and card quality, but I think it’s still definitely worth it for comic fans who enjoy drafting and set collection.
