If you're like me, the lower strengths of melatonin never worked for you. If you're like me, you were ready to give up on melatonin all together, but weren't ready to take prescription sleeping pills. Let me tell you: at least try to 10mg of melatonin before you give up on it. I didn't have high expectations due to past experience, but I was pleasantly surprised! I've been using this for a little over a month and personally it works. I've been falling asleep and staying asleep. As long as it's taken consistently I believe this truly helps. It won't knock you out right away, but it will gradually make you sleepy and aid you as you drift off. It also doesn't leave you groggy in the morning either, which is a huge plus!

These are the best Melatonin capsules you can take. Easy to swallow, no aftertaste. The makers NOW do their research as far as not containing gluten and dairy and other ingredients. Great product. Size is great, not big.

I have been experiencing trouble to sleep for over a year, I can't fall asleep for hours or if something wakes me up I can't go back to sleep, this has brought me a lot of trouble in many areas. Anyway... I didn't want to buy something hardcore or have my doctor prescribe something that would be too much and hard to stop taking. I have done a lot of research and I bought this bottle of Melatonin, I took 10 mg the first night and I definitely fetlt sleepy within 30 minutes, I was so ready to fall asleep. I went to bed and sadly woke up 3 hours after totally ready to go :( Next night I upped the dose to 20 mg (Being that I read this can be used from .01 mg up to even 300 mg safely) anyway, I fell asleep within 30 minutes, I was watching a movie and all I remember is me turning it off and turning around, I slept ALL NIGHT and woke up in a great mood, it was a bit hard to get out of bed even, but my mood was excellent all day. Next night I repeated 20 mg and again, I was out within 30 minutes, woke up 8 hours later feeling brand new, I mean, I haven't slept like this for over a year I even forgot what it was like! I have been on it for 5 days, I sleep great every night however I noticed I have been having very vivid dreams (I haven't had dreams in forever) and I actually like it. Overall I am very satisfied, this definitely works, this is a hormone and for some reason the US is the only country in which Melatonin is not regulated at all. This is prescription medicine in other countries. Also, I have read in several articles this might not be very good for little kids, no side effects have been recorded but a Dr. from europe said this could affect kids after several years, as a hormone, this could potentially affect sexual maturity apparently. Use with caution when giving it to kids.

This Melatonin is a life saver whenever I'm having trouble sleeping. I've tried ones with less mg, but this amount works like a charm, I'm probably out within 30 min. I would try not to use everyday because your body could get dependent on it, but at least it's natural and has good ingredients. You get a good quantity for the price, will definitely buy again!

After using the product for 10 days (my personal experience): Does it make you sleep: Absolutely yes!! Does it make you reap benefits of good sleep: Not at all!! I don't see a point in using a product for better sleep if it makes you sleep but still you feel like you haven't slept, and you feel this the entire day!! Despite sleeping for 8–9 hours, you wake up absolutely tired and yawny, you lack energy and have almost no mental energy to work. Absolutely counterproductive in my experience!! I had read about this earlier that most of the melatonin supplements are offering 10+ mg, which is way too much compared to what the body naturally produces. I'm not really sure what science is backing this. Melatonin metabolism is highly subjective and varies from person to person. Apparently, in my body the compound stayed for too long and constantly kept me out of energy. I'd advise other people to start with small dosages like 1–3 mg (only if you're able to find that product :-p). I felt much more functional with less sleep without this product after quitting it.

Had previously used Nutrol 10 mg but this one doesn't have same relaxing and quick effect as nutrol product maybe it differ from person to person.
