Question 1

Regarding the 12-gel variety pack, which four of the overall 8 flavors have a 2nd pack that comes in this size pack?  (Please don't write a response if you don't know the answer.)

Accepted Answer

Our goal is provide you with one of each flavor, and then double up with a 2nd pack of the four most popular flavors. However, different inventory levels for each flavor can sometimes affect our ability to accomplish that. We do promise not to double up on the just the slowest-selling flavors.

Question 2

Where's the nutritional information?  Calories?  Carb:Protein ratio?  etc.

Great question! Endurance athletes definitely need to know exactly what they're ingesting, so we make an effort to make that info easily available. Each packet has the Nutrition Facts, plus we have an image of the Nutrition Facts for each flavor in our photos on the Amazon listing (just scroll up to the top), and we also have it available on our website.

Question 3

Does the variety pack come with all the available flavors?

Accepted Answer

The vast majority of the time the answer is "yes!" However, occasionally we either introduce a new flavor when we already have stock in the the Amazon warehouse, or temporarily stock out of a flavor. The first time this happened, we surveyed a bunch of customers and asked them "what would you prefer: no variety packs unless they have all 8 flavors, or a variety pack with 7 out of 8 flavors?" The (paraphrased) answer was "just give me the variety pack dangit". So you most probably get all 8 flavors, and at worst could get 7/8.

Question 4

How big are the gels?  Will they fit on a running belt like GUor Cliff brands will or are they to large (like the powerbar ones with the twist top)

Accepted Answer

This is a great question. If you can't fit them in whatever you're using on your workout, then they're not very useful, are they? The packets are ~5.3" tall x 2.25" wide, but **IMPORTANT NOTE**: they're very slender and not filled to the top, so they are *very* flexible. You can easily fold them in half so they're ~2.5" tall, or fold them in half so they're ~1" wide. Since they're so flexible, you should have no trouble fitting them into any pocket designed for gels.
