But this is a Slimline replacement for the spare tire in an old muscle car. Fit perfect, just like these tires have always been.

There are the correct narrow and tall tires VW fitted to Beetles, few carry them and these will make your vintage VW Typ I (including Super Beetles) handle better and drive nicer plus improved fuel economy . These are made my B.F. Goodrich in Mexico, they were the O.E.M. supplier for all Mexican made Beetles so I've been using these for forty years now and they tend to age out (7 years =/-) before wearing out and yes, I drive my old Bug flat out most of the time and log a _lot_ of miles . Pretty quick delivery, a few days more than promised but that's normal these days . I bought the full set of five as I always carry a good spare, the last sets still looked new (bought in 2016) and held the road well when a bit of tread detached and flew off, why I replaced all five . Vendor sent 2022 production dated tires, that's a bummer as modern tires are made from different rubber so after 4 ~ 5 years you're on borrowed time and your _LIFE_ depends on good tires . -Nate
