Stunning blooms, prune early to entice bigger growth!
I bought two packs of zinnias and two packs of cosmos and was thrilled with the quality and quantity of my blooms this growth season! This was my first time ever growing from seed, so I didn't really know what to expect, but I watched a couple youtube videos about how to care for these plants and what would grow well in my area (CT). I started about half the packets of each inside under grow lights and then transplanted them mid-May so I could get blooms as early as possible. For people complaining about weak stems or minimal blooms, you have to prune early on, this entices the plant to push up new growth. Then, I did a lot of cutting throughout the season and made a lot of bouquets for friends and neighbors as well...all from four packets! These seeds make for a beautiful addition to a cut flower garden. I can't wait to try some different varieties.

Low germination rate
Very low germination rate. Bought more when few germinated, and still scarce germination. Too expensive for few seeds that didn't grow.

Big, beautiful giant zinnia.
Pricey per seed! Package contained only about a tablespoon of seeds. Hard to find though, so worth every penny.

Beautiful and easy.
Beautiful, easy to grow, and drought tolerant. Pictured here by Profusion Yellow/Red Bicolor. Grown from seed purchased from Eden Brothers.

Pretty but few
Really? That much money for so few seeds? The flowers are pretty so I wasn’t disappointed in that, but there aren’t very many flowers and they are smaller than typical zinnias. Not all the seeds sprouted. I’m going to save seeds from this year’s flowers so next year’s display will have more of an impact.

Super Disappointed-Not as Advertised
I love zinnias and have been planting California Giants for years. I wanted to try these as the pictures were just gorgeous. I planted the cupcake pink mix. Super disappointed to say the least. They look NOTHING like the advertised picture. In fact, they barely even look like zinnias but rather like a miniature wildflower of some kind. I took a picture with one of my regular zinnias next to the Eden Brothers cupcake mix so you can see the size difference and quality. There’s no layering as advertised in the picture. I had such high hopes but sadly, I will never buy these again. Additionally, it took them 3 months to finally bloom while my other zinnia varieties have been blooming 2 months ago.

Low quantity of seeds in packet
Bought these twice, first package had about 30 seeds the 2nd order however only had 20 seeds some of which looked like one half of a seed. Very disappointed with amount of seeds for the price. Quality control has much to be desired. Will look for another source for zinnia seeds for future purchases.
