This monitor is fantastic! The 27-inch UHD display is incredibly sharp, and the colours really pop thanks to the quantum dot technology. Gaming feels smooth with minimal motion blur, and the refresh rate keeps fast-paced action crisp. The build quality is solid, and the design looks sleek on my desk. Setup was straightforward, and it’s made a huge difference for both gaming and general use. Definitely worth it if you want a high-quality, immersive experience.

I've been using the MSI MPG 274URF-QD monitor for a while now, and overall, it's been a fantastic experience. The display quality is top-notch, with vibrant colors and sharp details, making it perfect for gaming and productivity tasks. The high refresh rate ensures buttery-smooth gameplay, and the build quality feels premium. However, there are a couple of downsides worth mentioning. The monitor lacks built-in speakers, so you'll need external audio equipment, which might be an inconvenience for some. Additionally, while it supports AMD FreeSync Premium, it doesn't have native NVIDIA G-Sync. It is G-Sync compatible, but it might not deliver the same performance as a monitor with full G-Sync support. Overall, this monitor excels in delivering a high-quality experience, especially for gamers and creative professionals. Just keep in mind the few limitations before purchasing.

Excellent display, works perfectly with my PS5. The settings can be awkward to navigate using the little joystick on the back, but it's not a big issue for me. The lack of built in speakers could be a problem for some, but overall this is a great monitor for the price.

I paid £278 for this absolute beauty of a 4K monitor. It does 160Hz, and HDR doesn’t look too bad either. I use a Dell Alienware AW2725DF as my main gaming monitor, and the MSI as my main work/browsing monitor. To be fair, the OLED is amazing — but if I only had the MSI, I’d still be very happy. I’ve run some games on it, and they look great. Ratchet & Clank is one that really stood out.

This is a pretty lovely monitor. The resolution is absolutely crisp, looks amazing on the screen size. I am coming from a 1440p monitor so it looks impressive even against that. On my unit the IPS glow was not an issue and it also arrived very well secured. The stand is very well made and feels smooth to move around to your liking. The colours come fairly well adjusted as standard but you can easily edit it with the OSD menu. For the money, you probably cannot get a monitor of this calibre that’s better.

For £250 this is a great monitor, but I’m writing this review for people thinking about buying it at full price (MSRP). Cons: Slow to turn on (6–12 seconds) - All my devices boot faster than this. In a multi-monitor setup, the others turn on first, then this one lags behind. If it’s your main screen, your OS goes “yaaay, the main monitor’s back” and then freaks out while rearranging everything. It’s a small thing, but really annoying on both Windows and Linux. USB ports only work when the screen is active - The monitor needs an active image signal before the USB ports provide power. Once your laptop goes to sleep or standby, it stops charging. Same for any other devices you might have plugged in. My old Dell monitor kept charging in standby, so this feels like a step back. Anti-reflective coating affects image quality at the corners - The centre looks fine, but the corners appear discoloured unless you view them from just the right angle (not straight on). It’s not IPS glow - it’s more like having a matte screen protector hovering slightly above the panel, giving a hazy look around the edges. It’s noticeable in both dark and light scenes and just looks a bit off. Verdict: Overall, it’s great value around £250, but I wouldn’t pay the full £450. The turn-on delay and corner haze are dealbreakers at that price point, but if you find it discounted, it’s a solid monitor for the money. The colours are good, and the KVM/charging passthrough functions are great if you don't mind that they don't work in standby.

I brought this back in November 2024, unfortunately it's now dead & won't turn on. I also noticed early on it had a dead pixel in the middle of the screen & had bad back lighting where you could see the back light even on a black background. I'm extremely disappointed & it seems quite a lot of others have had at least a few of the same issues I've faced.

After upgrading to a new laptop which had HDMI 2.1 as an output i couldn't use the display port cable causing a limited refresh rate. This lead to me making an upgrade to this monitor which not only has a beautiful 4k quantum dot display but a refresh rate that equaled my older 1440p display, except this time i can use it to its full due to its connectivity with this being one of the few higher refresh rate high resolution displays that allow the utilization of HDMI 2.1 it pulled my attention however the stand was what made me pick the 27 inch over the 32 inch curved since even though it takes up more space on the desk, i find this form to be much less intrusive over areas of the desk i wish to use.
