Fun Solder Project
This project is so much fun and a great price. it's perfect for those just learning to solder smaller parts. the outcome was awesome and my students have a lot of fun with it. It's been dropped quite a few times and is still spinning perfectly.

Good kit
This was a good practice kit. I was afraid it would be too easy but it had very small parts and was hard to solder. I'm not a great solderer and I have to tackle some small soldering and doing this gave me the confidence that i can probably do it. I took one star off because the instructions were very unclear and it was hard to determine which part was which. These parts are tiny and they do have things written on them, but you can't see it without a microscope. Simply putting identifiers on the pictures in the instructions would have made the process easier. I also couldn't find 1620 batteries anywhere in my local area. I had to use 1632 but they're a little thicker so i had to adjust the battery holders a little bit. So, but 1620 batteries if you don't already have them. Overall this project took me maybe 2-3 hours. I enjoyed the project once i figured out which parts were which. The kit came with extra leds and resistors in case you lose them.

A nice practice kit
This is a very decent and challenging kit. It has very clear instructions and board markings are clear enough for someone who doesn't do a lot of this work, such as the negative mark for the LEDs. The parts are the smallest I would want to build an entire kit from. I believe they're 0603. Any smaller and the parts would be beyond annoying to handle. As with all smt parts, the most challenging part is getting the components out of the package. There were 2 spare 101 resistors, one spare of the other value, and some spare LEDs. I wish they gave a spare capacitor since I lost the only one included. I managed to find a different one to get my kit finished though. Over all a great kit, and unlike other practice kits, this one is fun to play around with once it's finished.

Great Kit. Don't Fear Surface Mount Components.
This was my first surface mount project-kit. Worked out great. Kit provided extra components in case you breathe the wrong way and loose an LED or resistor!!! These things are TINY! Daughter got this for Valentine's day and she loved it. ONLY THING - you need to supply 3 x 1620 cells (watch batteries).

*This kit contains a printed circuit board with high-quality microcircuit components, but the components are incredibly small and require precision tools for attaching or detaching, which may not be readily available. *This DIY kit can be a fun project for those with the required tools and expertise. Take your time and don't be afraid to ask for help. Are you interested in a DIY project that is both fun and challenging? This kit might be exactly what you are looking for! It contains a printed circuit board with high-quality microcircuit components such as microchips, transistors, and LEDs that are comparable to those found in the latest tech devices. However, the components are incredibly small and require precision tools for attaching or detaching, which may not be readily available. While it can be a fun project for professionals, novice hobbyists may find it challenging. When I opened the package, I found the project quite tricky. The tiny components made it difficult to read the text on them, and the instructions were not very clear. Unfortunately, I ended up losing some of the parts, which were absorbed into the environment. In conclusion, this DIY kit can be a fun project for those with the required tools and expertise. If you're a novice, it might be challenging, but don't let that discourage you. Take your time, and don't be afraid to ask for help. It's a great conversation starter, and the result could be a fantastic piece of tech that you can show off to your friends and family.

A fun kit that will challange your soldering skill
I found this to be a straightforward kit to assemble so long as you understand a few things. SMD- Surface Mounted Devices, these things are manufactured to be tiny. The little parts are easily lost or scattered when a cat jumps up on your work surface, take precautions. You have a few extras but be careful, I have special ceramic tweezers for handling the little things. The primary challenge of this kit is the advanced soldering skills required to manage the minuscule parts that would rather stick to the soldering iron than the mounting pads. Parts placement is straight forward so just stay at it and watch polarity on the LEDs. Once you finish you have a really cool fidget spinner that impresses everybody.

Get a good magnifying glass
It came with all necessary parts and good instructions, however, this is certainly not for a beginner! I would never make this as easy, but if you know what you are doing and have a really good magnifying glass, you shouldn't have much difficulty. FYI: The LEDs and Resistors are the ones that are smaller than the lead that breaks off of a pencil.

Thi was great but make sure you have cr1620 batteries I have to wait for mine to finish putting it all together.
