My kids always wanted a hammock but we don't have trees close to each other in our backyard where we can hang one and I didn't want to get a bulky standalone metal hammock stand that we don't have a place to store away during winter but this portable and foldable hammock stand is truly a game changer! My kids are loving it and fighting over this now and I know they will even fight over it more during the summer next year! It was super well packaged and inside the box was a super sturdy storage bag with carrying handle as well as shoulder strap. It's easy to carry but it's not super lightweight storage bag either because the aluminum frames are super heavy duty. I couldn't believe how quick and easy it was to open it up and setup the hammock. It literally took less than a minute to open and set it up once we got familiar with the setup. Oh, and the setup instructions are attached inside the storage bag with illustration, which is very handy. I love how it also incudes the shade and a cup holder, which is perfect during the summer when using it under the sun. The hammock itself is folded inside a pouch, which is attached to the hammock so you will never misplace it. They really thought of everything when designing this amazing portable hammock. I'm 5'11" tall and I was very comfortable inside the hammock as it wrapped my body around with plenty of space around my arms and legs. I'm planning to use it on our backyard for my kids but I can't wait until I take this out to a local park or even a beach during the summer next year, which I'm sure will get plenty of attention from other people. I’ll be honest—I really like this anymaka hammock stand. A little context first: I didn’t buy this expecting to haul it deep into the backcountry on a week-long backpacking trip. If you’re counting every ounce in your pack, this probably isn’t the setup you’re looking for. But for everything else? It’s been great. Most of my hammock time isn’t hardcore camping anyway. It’s backyard afternoons, beach days, parks, and hanging out at friends’ places. I wanted something that didn’t rely on finding the perfect trees, digging holes, or being limited by the terrain—and that still felt stable once I was in it. This stand does exactly that. Setup Setup is way easier than I expected. From pulling it out of the bag to actually lying down in the hammock takes maybe one minute. Design & Comfort Adjustability is a big win for me. Being able to tweak the height and length makes it work with different hammocks and lets you dial in how much sag you want. Once it’s set, it feels solid—no sketchy movement or wobble when shifting around. If I had to nitpick, sure, it’s not ultralight and it’s a bit bulky compared to minimalist setups. It was difficult to discern how heavy the bag was from the ads as I was worried about the weight. Rest assured, my 5 yr old daughter can carry the bag with everything the Full Pack came with. Once you get the hang of it, the hammock stand can be set up in 1-2 secs, time challenges with the kids. We were hoping to set this up outdoors when the weather played nice, but the family was too excited and decided to just set it up in the living room. Instructions were sewn on the bags. It had room for Me, My 5 and 10 yo daughters, and even our 20lb dog. Only gripe was the cup holder since I gotta have my coffee and my large mug barely fits inside, but any standard mug should fit. The phone holder however should be large enough to fit most phones! For the first few days of owning it, I commend the quality, sturdiness and comfort. We’re 5’1” & 5’4” and we honestly didn’t have high hopes. We saw someone mention the hammock height settings weren’t great and figured we’d have the same issue. We’ve struggled with those classic tree hammocks before, and they’re such a pain! But we loved how convenient this design looked and decided to give it a try. In order to prevent the hammock from sagging, it needs to be a little tight at the beginning. After playing around with the settings for a few minutes, we found a sweet spot that felt perfect! We are relatively short, so it may still be a bit difficult to get in, but stepping on the frame helps a lot. Once we’re in, it feels really stable and solid. Super easy to get in and out once it’s dialed in. We use it mostly in chair mode when we go travleing in our van. It’s not some rigid patio chair, it molds to you once you settle in. We’ll usually toss a little pillow behind our heads if we’re lounging for a while, makes it extra cozy. If you’re around our heights, just be ready to tweak things a bit. But honestly, once you get it set right, it’s way better than we expected!!

Spent a weekend out at Detroit Lake and brought this hammock stand along. I'm a hammock camping fanatic living near a large forest in North America, but I moved into a neighborhood with no trees. It's been a struggle for me to find a solution to meet my key hammocking requirements, which are 1) Portable, 2) Easy to assemble, 3) Sturdy and freestanding. I've picked up a few hard-earned lessons during this process of finding a solution. First off, most foldable hammock stands are way smaller than they look, practically only useful as a chair. Second, those stands where you have to connect metal tubes are much trickier to set up than you’d think. ANYMAKA's hammock stand, though not perfect, checks off those boxes. First of all, they advertise a 3 seconds setup time, but once you add in the time it takes to hang the hammock and pull everything out of the bag, it's not. But it’s still way more convenient than most of the other stands out there. The storage size is also well thought out—about 40" long, and it just fits in my sedan. When it's fully set up in lounge mode, it's around 100+" wide, which works for me(I'm 6'1'') and I can get a flat lay if lying diagonally. So far, I'm happy with this hammock stand that I can take everywhere. I will keep testing it to see if it’s durable enough in the long run. If you’re thinking about buying a hammock stand, and you’re mostly car camping or just want a spot to chill in your backyard every now and then, and you got some extra cash to spend, this is probably your best option on the market.
