Great antenna! Amazed at the number of channels
We live in the suburbs of a mid-to-large size city with lots of local channels, but in the past, we've only been able to get 5-6 channels to come in clearly. I only watch broadcast TV when the internet/cable goes out, so it hasn't been a big concern. Even so, I am amazed that this antenna pulls in clear broadcast TV signals for about 2 dozen channels. The antenna was easy to set up. I attached the flat part of the antenna to the inside of a window, so it is about 5' off the floor (probably about 10' above ground level). The amplifier and wiring are connected directly to the TV as shown in the instructions. This is the same setup we used with other antennas. The last 2 antennas we owned also had an attached amplifier. I have no idea why this antenna works so much better than the others, but I'm happy it does!

Perfect for my Camper
Works great in my camper! My camper's antenna went out, and I don't want to pay the $40+ dollars to get it fixed. This one just sits behind my TV (no window) and I get just as many as with the "stock" one. Very happy with it so far hopefully it lasts a while. I don't think it is getting the advertised 900-mile range but good enough to get all the local channels! Set up was a breeze, up and running in just a few minutes!

Great for cord cutters.
Works great, picks up all the local television stations clearly. Long cord in case you need to place the antenna far from the TV.

Not as good as a set of rabbit ears
Works for some channels in my area and not others. Quality is not great. Its really just a piece of cardboard covered in a plastic coating. I tried the included amp and it didn't work at all. Used on an old Aver USB TV tuner. I finally decided to try some old style Philips rabbit ears. Now the one broadcast channel we watch for news comes in clear with not hiccups or artifacting.

Great receiption here in Los Angeles, CA, the suburbs.
Edit: My partner got a little creative and moved the antenna to the other side of the room to attach to a window. Now perfect reception! All local channels, in addition to the regualar free streaming channels provided my Amazon. I just wish the cord was a tad, maybe 2' longer so it could trail against the floor. I highly recommend and updated to 5 stars. This was purchased for a small Amazon-Fire TV in our spare bedroom. I previously had a digital antennae but it had rabbit ears, so I wanted something more stylish. It picked up 174 channels. I'm in LA, so there are towers everywhere. I get about 25 channels, the rest showing up 'weak or no signal, reposition antennae'. Overall, its ok, but it picked up no more channels, even though I have it in the amplified in USB and also the screw in port. I'm keeping it as it's mainly for the cosmetic appearance. It's really no different then the one I previously had.

Useful for local channels, but forget the 900 miles:it's exaggerated marketing and basic construction
I received this DAANT antenna, and after testing it for a couple of days in Miami, here's the unfiltered truth. What you should know before spending your $19: The "900-mile" lie: Let's start with the obvious. It's physically impossible for an indoor antenna to pick up a signal from 900 miles away due to the curvature of the earth and physical obstacles. It's pure aggressive marketing. If you're expecting to receive out-of-state channels, forget it. Build quality: It's your typical plastic "sheet of paper." It's lightweight, easy to stick to the window (which is where it works best), but the cables feel pretty cool and delicate. The USB amplifier is necessary, but it won't work miracles if you live in a concrete bunker. Current reception: In an urban area like Miami, I managed to pick up about 40 channels, including the basic ones (ABC, NBC, Univision, Telemundo). The 1080p image is sharp, but the "4K" is more a feature of your TV's tuner than the antenna itself. Installation: It's plug and play. Connect the coaxial cable, the USB cable to power the amplifier, and start scanning the TV. Human-to-human tip: Don't place it right behind the TV; find the nearest window, or the signal will constantly pixelate. Pros: Price: At $19, if it saves you on cable for local news and sports, it pays for itself in a month. Discreet design: It's easily hidden behind a curtain. Long cable: The 16-foot cable is a big help if your window isn't right next to the TV. Cons: Misleading advertising: It bothers me that they blatantly lie about the range in thousands. Sensitivity: If someone walks nearby or there's bad weather, the signal on some channels drops. It's not a robust signal. Final Verdict: Does it work? Yes, for basic local channels. Is it the high-tech antenna the ad you describe? Not even close. If you live in the city and want to watch local channels for free, buy it, but keep your expectations regarding range to a minimum. It's a cheap, temporary solution, nothing more. antenna update: The reception started worse than ever, I'll leave you with the photos so you can see what it looks like. I'm just disappointed with this antenna .

It got the job done, so I'm happy !
Take this Antenna before you stick to the window, put the channel you have trouble with on your TV Move antenna very slowly until your channel is clear and stick it on on that point. Then lock it in using air setting. You will be very happy with the results.
