I Really Like My Amazfit Active Edge
I would like to preface my review by stating that I purchased this watch with my own money, and I am not being compensated for this review. That being said...after a week of wearing this watch 24/7, I think it is just a great intro sports watch. It is light, but it doesn't feel cheap. The display is bright an clear, even in direct sunlight. No issues in the water so far, and the battery life is great. 5 days, and I am still at 64%. No...It doesn't answer calls. I have a phone for that. But for this active 61 year old, who cycles, does paddle sports, and walks several miles a week, it's just a perfect companion. The Zepp OS is quite intuitive. I am still discovering all of the stuff this watch will do. But for me...It does exactly what I need it to do...tracks my workouts, sleep, caloric intake, water, and vitals like heart rate and blood Ox. I can also set activity reminders. It offers tips on how to improve in all aspects with AI generated suggestions. It has a GPS so it tracks my routes when I walk, kayak or cycle. The watch easily connect to my android phone. The Zepp app is 100% certified old guy compliant. If I can make it work and understand it...I know most of you can as well. It is very easy to navigate. I just like the fact that I can track all of my activity and see progress...in every aspect of my wellness journey. This is not another cheap sports watch. It is the perfect intro into sports watches, without buying a cheap piece of junk with a crappy OS. What you are getting is a very good product that will get you well on your way, for a price point that most people can hit easily.

Totally surprised by the quality of this watch!
I was totally surprised by this watch. It offers a ton of functionality, physical toughness, and good looks. I've had it for a few months now. If you set it to only display when you need it...that is, not always on and not wrist lift activated...the battery lasts for weeks. I also like a minimalist look which requires very little energy (photos). I hunt and camp and do very physical work with it on and it can take a beating. So far it has done everything they say it does. I used to buy Seiko only, but their quality is now so bad that I had to try something new. This is a great watch.

Just right for me
I was not really sure I needed a smart watch, so this purchase was a test run to understand the workings and benefits a smartwatch offers. The model I am reviewing is not the latest offering and it is a refurbished item. However, it is a really good match for what I figured my discovery needs would be. It hit every mark and then some. Here are my high points in sort of bullet point form: The watch mates with an app on my cell phone. The app is easy to download, has tons of data and fairly simple to use. The short side is that it is a bit slow on my phone, an older Samsung. (My phone is off most of the day. So, this may contribute to slow.) There are a lot of features, but I just use a few regularly; workout-walking, sleep measurements, heart rate and good old time/date. Walking is what I do for exercise. The watch tracks and stores a lot of walking workout data. Some unexpected things like elevation change, heart rate chart, step count and length along with a measured GPS track. Very cool. That data is stored in the Zepp app on my phone and up-dates seamlessly when the Zepp app is active. Custom faces are available for free and up to 2 bucks inside the app. A tad addictive here since there are a lot of choices. I think I downloaded at least six and have one that seems to be my daily user. More of the cool factor here. Some closing comments since there is really too many features to detail in full. I have just covered the things I use and find helpful. My pre-purchase regimen is to look at several on-line video reviews and there was plenty of material out there for a good decision. Briefly on measurements, I have no way to test the accuracy of the data. But it does seem to be reasonably, intuitively, accurate. Finally, my experience with a renewed item: It shipped quickly and came in the original box in like new condition. This watch did inspire me to do more on my workout. The data produced showed me that I was not doing enough work even though I thought I was. Just a little more effort and the stats looked way better. In closing, it is above my expectations in build quality, features, app interface and overall utility.

Incredibly useful, some drawbacks
Purchased a couple months ago and overall I love it. The workout settings are great and help motivate me to get out and get working. Blutooth control works perfectly for music, the GPS for outdoor runs is very accurate. I can keep my phone on silent and the watch alerts me for calls and texts. Battery life is excellent, and it's built tough. On the not so good list, The sensors for sleep must be programmed off of the heart sensor, which kinda sucks. It skips whole hours of the day and night and sends alerts to get a sleep study. The alerts for movement and steps are very annoying and don't take into account what time of day it is. Every night without fail it tells me to get up and get moving when I'm about to fall asleep in bed. I'm sure there is a way to disable it but I haven't found it yet for the final reason I dislike. The menu system is totally non intuitive. Typical for Chinese products, it is rather hard to navigate and find what you need. Overall it's pretty good, and I'm happy with the purchase

expecting mediocre, but have been really pleased.
Bought as a skeptic and expecting mediocre, but have been really pleased. Battery life is excellent, even with heavy usage. Heart rate seems comparable with my Garmin watch. Gps map and speed for walking and cycling is dead on even with garmin. Ai coach from Zep is pretty good and comparable to others that have paid subscription or ones with more expensive entry point. Not claiming as good as super high end Garmin, but very competitive for low to mid range ones. Done plenty or swims and rainy rides without any issues.

Great watch!
Watch is great. Fits awesome and very rugged. Battery life is amazing. I use almost every monitor function on this watch and they all work great. Now to the most important part after having a $400 smart watch. The battery lasts 1 1/2 to 2 months on a single charge. This depends on how often I use the GPS hiking/walking tracker. Yes it is actually a GPS watch. My one and only complaint is that the "apps" are Zepp only. There are other apps I looked forward to using with this watch but can not. This is not WEAR OS{android} or APPLE play store compatible. This watch is still worth every penny I spent and more. 9/10 recommend!

Decent Watch, not very customizable
This is my first smart watch and I am not really sold on them. Do not get me wrong it has LOTS of impressive functions, so many that I doubt I will ever use all of them. The biggest problem with it is they are not integrated with each other, and a majority are not shown on the face in a majority of their face options. So its just like having another smaller phone on your wrist that you have to dig through to get the information you are after. Was very impressed with the compass function, in fact that is why I bought the watch. Very unimpressed that no one has figured out how to merge the watch with the compass together. Only one I found has a note that says not to complain about it because it is there for decoration, that is very helpful, excuse my sarcasm. The military watch face is the most basic version that doesn't show military time, there is much more to the military than camo folks. All the outdoor watch faces do not include any type of compass in them, nor does the aviator face version. Many different watch faces to choose from, but no way to customize your own face that I have found. I can attest that it is extremely hard to scratch, the face has taken a beating of the wall 10+ times, a glance of a tool, and being dropped with no issues at all. Sleep function seems to work pretty good. Have some doubts on the heart rate as I was in the middle of a workout and it was reading 95 bpm, but it seems to work most of the time. All in all it seems to be a solid watch, just needs more support.

Battery for days
Love these watch this is my second amzfit prefer them over Apple Watch since they tend to last longer battery hold on average about 2 weeks. Has the basic function one needs instead of being overload with apps that drain your battery great for fitness tracking.

SUPERA A CUALQUIER OTRA MARCA
