Through the years, I've taken glucosamine/chondroitin several times, and it didn't seem to help anything. My nephew recommended this complex (mg dosage mix). He said he felt nearly pain-free the first day or two. I ordered the Solimo brand because it was extremely cheaper than the drugstore brands and the same milligrams. Wow! My nephew was right! I just take two every morning, and my knee hardly bothers me at all (arthritis). And I just feel better all over where I've had arthritic pain. I am sixty-nine and worked in the yard a few days---something I haven't been able to do at all. I highly recommend this product and will continue to take it.

have used this product for years, it keeps me going, and helps with knee pain. I once forgot to reorder and went without for a couple of weeks. The joint pain returned quite quickly. Will not forget again to order again.

I started taking glucosamine to help combat knee pain and stiffness related to jogging. I started with another brand which worked okay but the pills were huge and it wasnt as effective as I hoped. When it was no longer available, I tried the solimo glucosamine. Not only was it less expensive, but the pills were a bit smaller (still large but easier to swallow) and they seem to completely eradicate my knee pain. Before Solimo glucosamine, I was afraid I would have to give up jogging because I felt like my pain was increasing every day. Now I hardly think about my knee pain. It's kind of a miracle.

First of all, I am really tired of people preaching about the placebo effect every time someone has a positive reaction to medicine/supplements, etc. Yes, the placebo effect is real, but that does not mean that nothing actually works. In fact, I am an extremely pessimistic person when it comes to supplements. You could say that I regularly experience the opposite of the placebo effect, as I have been disappointed by so many things, that I assume nothing really works. I will now step off my soapbox and review this product, thanks for listening, tip your waitress. I have occasional knee problems, and constant hip pain (both) thanks to the many body-breaking jobs I've had over the decades. I overdid ibuprofen a few years ago, and now can barely take it due to what it did to my stomach. I tried turmeric, couple different brands and doses, no help at all. I haven't had a solid night's sleep in years due to having to constantly shift positions to relieve weight on my hips. It's exasperating. I decided to try glucosamine/chondroitin and picked this product due to price and reviews. There was absolutely no change in my pain for for about the first week, so I chalked it up to yet another letdown. By the end of the second week, however, I noticed that I was shifting in bed much less, and didn't have fire in my hip joints when I got out of bed. Now, almost a month since first taking it, I only have hip pain after a long hike or extended time on the exercise bike. But, even this goes away after a few hours, and I have very minimal and easy to tolerate discomfort at night. I m hoping that even this goes away as time goes on. I'll definitely be ordering again. No doubt what other reviewers say about the size and dryness on the pills, but fortunately they don't have much taste, as it does take me a few tries to get them down.

I have been taking this for a few months how and noticed over time that I was starting to feel much better with my joints and having fewer problems and less pain. I had already planned to continue taking this. Then my stepmom called to tell me my dad was in the hospital and I needed to get there. I initially planned to drive but had a gut feeling that I needed to fly (I'm glad I did). The unfortunate result of flying out that very day meant that I did not have proper time to pack. I flew in my pajamas...I tossed random clothes into a backpack...and left. I did not take ANY of my supplements with me. I was away from home for over a week and noticed after a couple days that I was in more and more pain by the day. By the time I came home I resorted to prescription pain meds to take the edge off of how bad it had gotten. I only had them because they were already in my bag from my last trip. For me, this supplement as well as the turmeric that I take daily means that I can function in my daily life without using prescription pain meds nearly as often. While I do still have some bad pain days...most of the time I do just fine without needing to take anything stronger. *Please note that most of this review is copied to the review for the turmeric that I take as well due to having the same thing to say about both products.

This is a short , but sweet review. I injured my knee and had trouble bending it. I am over sixty (60), but still active and like walking and bicycling. The injured knee made walking difficult with the pain and swelling from doing extended walks. I was told by one doctor that I had arthritis in the knee and that was the source of my pain and swelling. I was advised by another Doctor that Glucosamine Chondroitin would give me some relief from the pain after about 30 days. I read the reviews and ordered this brand of Glucosamine Chondroitin with MSM. I noticed a pain relief after 30 days and the swelling from taking my long walks had stopped. I can't say with 100% certainly that the Glocosamine with MSM was the solution to my pain and swelling, because I continued to bicycle, which helped to build the muscles around my knee, but talk with your medical professional and see if it is worth $15.00 to try out the product for 30, 60, or 90 days.
