Great for Beginners and Professionals!
I was really impressed with the quality for the price listed. It holds color and moisture well in use, and I was able to apply other media (in my case, prismacolor pencils) well without tearing / stripping the paper. Smooth, flat-pressed layers with little to know fiber shift / pickup when used gently. I did want the paper to be slightly thicker, as in some areas I went over more than a few times, there was some warping of the page, but it was a minor note and was more due to my chosen project rather than the paper itself. If you're planning on doing a full-soak of the page or doing several full-page washes prior to adding detail, make sure that you're doing so carefully to avoid the page curling. Honestly, as long as you're expecting a little curl, it's great!

Good little watercolor book
I really like this sketch book. It has a good texture and the paper quality is just right, a great value for the money. Granted, I'm still somewhat of a beginner but I think you can't go wrong with this one. Would buy again

Good quality!
The pages were nice and thick, with a good texture to them (I'm a texture person.) The absorbency seemed good, as they didn't bleed the colors all over. Easy to use with the paints and helped create a craft that was a ton of fun!

Nice quality paper, too nice for a preschooler
Given as a gift to a preschooler who loves to color and draw. Next time will give newsprint tablet which is less expensive. This is s exceptional paper and should be used for watercolor.
