Great product I use this essential oil in my pergola to keep away insects. Great smelling, good price for the quantity.

Can wait to see if this product really keep the spiders and ants away. Like my other brand. Oil is so expensive. So i decided to try a small bottle first. Came very protective.

I mean this is very good mint oil but I will tell you you barely need any one drop will have your house smelling like mint a little too minty a little too strong sometimes so you definitely don't need more than a drop but I will tell you that meant will keep moles away mice away flies don't even like it because it's very very strong and you can consume it not a lot cuz it's so strong but you put a little tiny drop into your coffee you can have coffee. Only thing I recommend is not using a lot of it because it is one of the strongest mint oils I've ever had but it works great.

This does not have a strong smell. I actually can't smell it. I run it in my kitchen because gnats don't like peppermint. My diffuser is med size and blows out a good stream so I should be able to smell it. I usually buy more expensive brands but thought I would try this.

Of all the essential oils, peppermint oil is probably the most popular and most useful type. And I have not come across a pure peppermint essential oil that I don't like, and I do like most of the Majestic Pure products that I have tried (although I do like some more than others). This one is no exception. It is a habit of mine that before I review a product, I read other people's reviews, especially the negative ones - just to make sure I know if I've been had. This Majestic Pure bottle has quite a few reviews, and understandably there are a small number of negative reviews. Most of these negative reviews complained about the oil being weak, light in potency, or plainly smells bad. I am no expert in this matter - I don't own a mass spectrometer or a gas chromatography machine - but I think I am more qualified than most normal users to make a judgement. The reason is that I have been using peppermint oil (and others) for years, and I currently own 5 other bottles of peppermint essential oil. Four of them were bought from different brands on Amazon, and another was bought directly from a famous wholesaler with a long history of selling essential oils. I have been buying EO from them for 15 years, and have never been disappointed. The point is, I have sampled enough peppermint oil through the years to know a fake or a watered down version (the proper term is "extended") when I smell one, and I did run into a few in the past. This oil is not a fake. People need to remember that essential oils come from plants, and one bottle may smell a little different than another, even if they are from the same label but from different batch, different processing facility, different harvest, or different farms. So don't be so quick to dismiss your EO as a fake just because it doesn't smell exactly like the one you are familiar with. As for whether this oil is adulterated/extended with carrier oil, you can easily tell. A simple sniff usually does the trick, because if the EO is extended with carrier oil it would smell much more muted, or even smell oily - remember, your essential oil is not really an "oil" which usually means a fatty acid. The other easy way, but not as immediate as a sniff test, is to put a drop on a tissue and let the oil slowly evaporate. If it contains impurities - including carrier oils because they are fatty acids and do not evaporate like EOs do - you will see a color ring - usually pale yellow or brown - around the dried blotch where the EO used to be. Lastly, you can put the EO in your diffuser and run it till dry. The carrier oil will not be diffused into the air, and what's left on the bottom of the diffuser's reservoir will be slick (oil) or even sticky (resin), especially after a few runs. This peppermint oil has passed my three tests. One complaint said she put several times the normal amount in the diffuser but the scent did not last. I have found that peppermint oil tends to float on top even more so than other essential oils. When you switch on the diffuser you will immediately get a blast of peppermint, but it will get used up faster because of that. What I do is, once I drop the peppermint oil in the water, I follow with a few swishes of the water to mix it up before I turn on the diffuser. That always does the trick. I hate spiders and they apparently have an affinity to pools!🙄 I bought this to help deter them away so I can actually relax instead of being on constant surveillance for those 8 legged terrifiers! This stuff WORKS, I sprayed it all on my float and not only did I not have any spiders on my float, it also about made me abort my mission. I was burning and felt like I was swimming in menthol. It was definitely an experience. It’s pure and I still am tingly on my arms and that was a week ago. Now I need another bottle because I used the whole thing in one afternoon (my phobia is inappropriately high) and now I need more. I have learned from my mistakes and will do better portion control on the next one. Also, don’t spray it if it’s windy, it got in my eyeballs and that sucked for a hot minute. The spiders and I got our a$$es kicked with this stuff. I’m a believer!
