Comparable to a 75 watt filament bulb

Perfect for reading and being inconspicuous
I just received this yesterday, but this lamp is seriously cool. The base is heavy and sturdy. The rest of the lamp is in 3 or 4 parts: the pole part of the lamp has integrated wires so you just screw them together, making sure the part with the plug is screwed into the base. The piece with the touch on/off/dim switches can be in the middle of the lamp or near the top, I believe. The light itself is large and gives off great light for reading. This won't light up a whole room. I only wish it came in brushed nickel or oil rubbed bronze so it would blend in a little better.

Its a great reading light! I like that it's lightweight, easy to adjust and it provides a decent amount of light - adequate for reading a book or an area you are working on without disturbing others. Very happy with this purchase.
