I have tested out a few products to use as a monitor stand for my 17.3 inch portable monitor and had issues with almost everything. Each product had its issues and some were too big, others were too small, and it just became an unnecessarily difficult issue to solve. Fortunately, this product just works. It’s a little small, a bit smaller than I would’ve thought, but it’s completely fine. The hinges are nice and tight with the ability to loosen them, the rotation of the stand at the bottom has a ratchet feel/sound so when you rotate it, it feels solid and not loose. It also folds up super well so will be nice for traveling. The vesa mount bolt sticker that you can attach to the device is also super good and ended up being my solution. I was a little worried about how well it would stick because the back of my portable monitor is a soft touch plastic/rubber which generally doesn’t do the best with stickers but it’s holding up well so far! The only issues I have are, I do wish it was a little bigger, maybe a 3rd section of the arm or make the arms a little larger, although that’s potentially just my preference, and the actual vesa mounting plate holes are just ever so slightly off. Everything still mounts thankfully but not without a little force for one or two of the screw holes.

I got this to mount a portable monitor to. The Allen-style adjustments for the pivot points arrived and were pretty tight. I chose this specific design so I didn't have to worry about a hinge wearing out from continuous angle adjustment. It serves the purpose well - and included screws that worked with my portable monitor for mounting (I had been looking for some screws shallow enough to support the thin monitor so this was a great addition to this mount).

Very solid and stable for my auxiliary 15inch laptop display.

Purchased to setup a portable monitor as a second display above a laptop. The stand is just about 1" too short to sit directly above the laptop, but still useful as I usually use the laptop slightly forward. You'll need to get some M3 screws to use the VESA mount. Otherwise a helpful addition to remote work that provides a solid base for a Dragon 4K portable monitor.

I love it! I have a surface pro and now it looks like a monitor ! It was the best purchase! It folds great for space or portability! It’s sturdy and can be adjusted!

Works, is easy to store when not in use keeps my monitor where I want it.

It is so delicate that if i want to lower my monitor it begins to fall. there is NO mechanism to make it stay. The only option is to have it almost at its highest point which defeats the purpose. I cannot return it now because im leaving for a trip. also i am typing right now and the monintor is wiggling. I feel like if i leave my house the monitor will fall by the time i come back home. SO DELICATE!!! UGH!!!

Holds my 18 inch monitor in place nicely. It has 3 different joints to adjust the angle and height of it. Assembly was easy, and you can adjust the tension of the joints depending on the weight of your item you're holding up; very solid construction. Oh, and the base has a ratcheting mechanism that allows you to swivel it and lock it into place.

I bought this for an 18.5 inch cocopar portable screen. This is fantastic for a portable screen if your screen has vesa mount. If your are looking at using this with the 18.5 inch cocopar screen it does work a treat BUT you will either need to take off the stand that folds out to put this on or, in my case, you need a handy husband with a dremmel to just trim the edge of the bottom off. This was a limitation of the screen not the stand, the vesa mount is very close to where the stand closes and the mounting plate was slightly too large. It now works beautifully as you can see.

This works great for my UPERFECT portable 16inch monitor. I bought these because of the vesa mount. I had to use the adhesive sticker at first because the vesa 4mm screws wasnt compatible with the monitor. The adhesive sticker that came with this was very strong. I was surprised. But i ended up buying the 3mm screws for the monitor and removing the adhesive sticker instead. It didnt leave any residue or damages but was a bit of a challenge to remove which shows how strong the adhesive was.

The quality is good, the glue holds the monitor, I wish it was taller, value for money
