Arey Shower Duo Anti-Grey Shampoo & Conditioner Set, Color-Safe, 8.45oz

This shampoo and conditioner set leaves my hair feeling clean, soft, and noticeably shiny without weighing it down. The products feel gentle, and I like that the formulas are color-safe and sulfate-free. The cedar and sage scent is pleasant without being overpowering. I’m very happy with how healthy and polished my hair looks after using them.

First off as a hairstylist I wasn't quite sure if I trusted this product. We were taught in school that once your hair greys there is nothing you can do about it. I have about 10% grey so I figured it was a good time to try it and see for myself how it works. I want to start off with the smell of this product gives Aveda vibes, and I loved it. The shampoo has a nice gentle lather to it and cleans my hair and scalp well. I typically wash my hair every 4-5 days so I would first shampoo with my clarifying shampoo to remove the excess oil and product, then follow up with Arey's shampoo on a cleaner scalp to let it really do its magic. The conditioner absorbs nicely into the hair and leaves it feeling very moisturized. After the shower I follow up with the Arey spray and work it in all over my scalp. I have been using this product for just shy of 2 months and I have not noticed a change yet, it typically takes a product for your hair 3-4 months to truly see results as your hair goes through it's natural growth cycle, but overall I have loved using this duo and am excited to see what the next couple of months has to bring for my greys!

I bought this product a month and a half ago, and just started using it this week. To me these two items are pricey, but decided to buy them because I thought they will be good. First time I used it, it left my face with a sensation of burning (I usually rise my hair an let water run through my face) and I was like ok, next time I’ll be more careful and rinse it with out letting the water touch my face, I washed my hair today, and even though I was very careful, my face was irritated and left me with the same burning sensation as the first time. I would like to return the product, but 30 days have already passed. I’m very disappointed ☹️

What an amazing product! I have been using it for 3 months and when I started I was finding a new grey almost every other day. I just turned 41 and was thinking I only had a few months left before I would have to consider getting highlights or something to hide the grey. Since using Arey I am only finding a new grey maybe once every other week. Some of the greys I pulled, at the root are now coming in a more light brown/ caramel color (I have brown hair) and it's crazy to me that it's actually reversing the grey! I didn't really believe it would be possible. I am truly so happy with the results and now I think I might even have years instead of months before I need to dye my hair. Stick with it for a full three months and I am sure you will love the results too. It's very worth the money!

so the photo with me and the box was the before photo, with long hair that is dull and looks like my waves were hurting...the second photo of the back of my hair was after a wash, condition and a bit of coconut oil to my ends after air drying. I have not styled my hair obviously in either photo. I had never tried AREY and was given the opportunity to try for my honest opinion! I LOVE THE RESULTS ....! I was shocked ! The consistency of the shampoo is THIN so be careful squirting it out , I wasted some due to this. I will report back after using both containers about the longer term results. SMELL 5 STARS, RESULTS 5 STARS .... .silky smoooth and soft hair .... my hair (greys) are coarse and dry normally but right now I am loving the feel! AREY only gets 4 stars because you have to pay up from my normal brand but may be worth every penny!

I don't know if I can comment on the anti grey property since I only used it for a month and didn't see any difference, but I don't like the shampoo and conditioner at all. My hair doesn't feel clean and it's way more frizzy. It's just not for my hair I guess. Giving 3 stars just because it might work for a different hair type but as for me it is definitly a zero star.

I have not been able to use this for the recommended 4 months to see if there are favorable results in reducing gray and frizz because I’ve noticed that every time I use it, I get an odd heart racing reaction, kind of like a hard time breathing, which makes me think I’m sensitive to the ingredients used. It does have a very herbal smell that is more medicinal than fragrant. At first I thought it was something else but as I eliminated things one by one, I still had the heart racing/breathing issues until I figured I should stop using the shampoo since it was the only other new thing I added to my routine. After stopping for a few days now, my heart racing/breathing is slowly resolving which makes me think it’s linked to this product. I really want to use it again to not only see if it works but also because of the price I had to pay for it. But I don’t want to risk feeling yuck again so I might just have to call it a lost. I gave it 2 stars only because my sensitivity could be only related to me.

According to my Amazon orders, I’ve purchased this Arey Smooth Conditioner five times and have been using it for nearly one year (purchased four times in combination with the Arey Wash Shampoo and one time conditioner only.) It’s a great daily conditioner. I especially like the smoothing it provides for my long, wavy hair. Only my professional hair colorist really knows if it’s affecting my hair color or not, because I leave the color entirely up to him. I wanted to share a recent discovery I made—part way through my fifth bottle. The conditioner is thick for this type of container. It’s a little hard to get out, and I often found myself taking the cap off and pounding on the bottom like a catsup bottle. This in turn often led to too much product in my hand. HOWEVER, the recent discovery I made is that if I store the conditioner upside down, I can open the click top and easily dispense just the right amount into my palm. Try it! You’re welcome!
