These little sand timers have been a total game changer in our house! As a mom or four, I'm constantly looking for ways to create structure without nagging- and these timers do exactly that. Each one is clearly labeled, the colors are fun and easy to distinguish, and they've held up well to everyday use ( and many drops)We use them for everything:*Brushing teeth*5 minutes for quick clean ups* Screen times warnings*Quiet reading*Independent PlayMy kids actually will run and get the timer and has been a huge help with transitions and routines. If you're trying to reduce screen time or get kids moving without meltdowns, these are a simple but super effective tool.

I bought these timers in 2018, and have not had a single one break until recently. A tested all of the timers and they were only off by 5 seconds, extremely accurate conpared to sand timers I've gotten in the past. We had given the 5 minute and 15 minute ones to our son's teachers last year as he has autism and he couldn't handle the beeping bell they had in his classroom (these colorful and quiet sand timers helped him transition so much better and he stayed focused longer). These timers have been thrown and dropped several times, without any glass breaking, but the plastic on top that holds the sand in did crack after about the 8th time of my 6'2 husband dropping it, and it bouncing on tile lol. We gorilla glued the crack in the top plastic and it worked for a while at home, but it's time to replace. After surviving a year of beatings from home and school, these are great quality in my opinion! The one minute timer works wonders for all three of my kids (ages 6, 5, and 2) as we use it to brush their bottom teeth, then they flip it and brush their top teeth for the recommended total of 2 minutes. These have come in handy so many times, unfortunately we have now lost a couple of them so I am buying another pack. Definitly worth it!

Oh my gosh I love these so much! I use them in my classroom when a student needs a time out/cool down. Depending on the situation, I select the time I feel they need and they sit and do cool-down stuff until the timer runs out. Sometimes they just like to sit back there and watch the colored sand fall. (Honestly-- 5 minutes of green sand falling?!) Since it's so brightly colored, it's also helpful for me to see at a distance when the time has elapsed. A GREAT alternative to a regular timer when you don't want a big buzzer telling you when 5 minutes is up. I also love that each amount of time has its own color; it makes them very easy to pick out when you want a specific time. LOVE!

I bought these for my elementary classroom, as we user timers for everything and it’s something that doesn’t require batteries. I was drawn to these because they are advertised as great for kids, classrooms, etc. The size is great! They are about 2-3 times as big as a traditional game sand timer. They do seem durable enough. Although, I’m a little baffled as to why they’re heavily advertised for children when they’re made of glass. I docked them a star because they are made of glass, not plastic.

Wow these were bigger than I anticipated! They are 5-6 inches tall and made of glass. Feels sturdy. I haven't done a timed test to see if they're accurate but I'm using to teach the concept of time with my toddler so it doesn't matter too much. I give her a 5 minute warning when we are about to transition out of an activity (aka screentime...) and she takes it pretty well being able to physically see when the timer will run out. The only thing that might be great would be to have the time labeled on top b/c I have to take it out of the box in order to tell which one is for what amount of time. I plan to label it myself.

I use these at school and at home for my grandchildren. At school we use them for center time, free time, taking turns and even time out. At home we use them much the same way with time out, taking turns, doing chores, time until bedtime, etc. The kids love being able to see home much time has past.

These have been a GAME CHANGER. When it comes time to transition from an activity, Our daughter will now say "ok can we set a timer?" and we no longer deal with melt downs when its time to stop playing to take a bath or eat dinner or whatever. We even bought a 2nd set to take with us wherever we go. You need these.

For an out of the box idea, I bought these for a 5 yr old's birthday and he looooved them. They're great for play and small tasks. I never timed them for accuracy, it wasn't critical to me. They've held up and I have no complaints.
