Been using for about a year and a half and still works amazing

Do Not buy. I've had mine for about 8 months and while it continues to work. The longer I've owned it the shorter and shorter the battery life will be on my batteries. I can use an 8ah battery That is pretty new to me and purchased not very long ago from home Depot. The gun will go through the battery within 5 minutes or less. How big of a battery am I really supposed to use? That's not efficient at all. And it seems that the longer I've owned it, The faster it will kill batteries. I started out with a 3ah and moved to 5ah ones.. now it's just a waste of time to use anything less than 8ah batteries

Arrived as scheduled and as described by Amazon. Overall fit and finish of the heat gun as well as the stainless steel (magnetic) attachments are of high quality. The heat gun is very intuitive to use. Heat adjustments, in increments of 10 degrees Centigrade, are simple to make. Instructions are well written and very understandable. (My only very minor concern is related to the slight amount of looseness in the engagement of the Milwaukee batteries into the heat gun. I did purchase a 3 year warranty; hopefully it will not be needed and if so, I'll revise my review.) Highly recommended.

Very good alternative to much more expensive namebrand heat guns. My Milwaukee batteries have had no issues fitting.

I bought this as my corded heat gun has only two levels, and the low was still too high for what I was doing. The ability to adjust your heat to what you need is big. Working with vinyl wrap, as a beginner, is hard enough. The adjustable settings and the easy to read screen make this a great choice for most people. Obviously the battery size plays a big part of how useful this will be for you. If it goes dead before you can finish that’s no help. The fit has a little slop, but you only really notice it when you first pick it up. Find someone who made the mistake of buying the Milwaukee BHG, and try it. You’ll be glad you went this route.

Works as intended...does feel janky in the hand but functions well.

When I saw this heat gun, I just had to have it. When I got it, I charged my battery and fired it up. A big plus is no more extension cords. I love that it has different heat settings so I can use it on different things. It works great and gives off good heat. I highly recommend this heat gun.

Flat out sucks the life out of batteries. Not my best purchase.

Well worth buying, but I don't see it lasting if used in rough use environments ( work sites) where it may be knocked around, home use perfect.
