Quite small but luckily all my plants are still babies so this worked out perfectly. Seems ti be a good quality and helps break up the soil. Will come back in future to update review

This has an almost styrofoam like texture, so I'm not actually sure if thats what it's supposed to feel like (first time using this). I've been using it on my strawberry and more recently watermelon plants in hopes that this will help retain moisture during a current heatwave we've been in for nearly 2 weeks. So far, I can say that it does seem to help. All my other plants are struggling but the bag wasn't enough for all unfortunately. I mixed a bit with the soil and then added more to the top. I don't know how long this is supposed to last, but the strawberry plants have had this for almost a month and a half and this is still working well and absorbing water.

This is a great quality bag of perlite. I mix it in with vermiculite and my soil. It is very lightweight and great for preventing root rot.
