Tagetes Minuta, Muster-John-Henry, Mexican Marigold, Peruvian Black Mint, 0.25g Approx 475 Seeds

I was not getting the seeds to sprout until someone told me to keep them in a glass of water for some days, changing the water every 2 days in a place with no access to direct sunlight. It worked perfectly. After that treatment I was able to pass them to a regular pot with soil.

Two packets and no germination . Been growing for 15yrs and these are the worse packets I’ve ever bought.

Tall plants, 3 ft high with pea like white flowers in October / November. Slugs love the developing plant. Prefers a sunny position.

I bought the seeds because I read that the roots of tagetes minuta are toxic to horsetail. The seedlings are now appearing, so so far, so good.

5 packs of these seeds that I got haven't even germinated as this is really bad for business selling products like this and they don't even work, I tried anything possible to get them germinate and as a passionate landscaper and vegetable growers which is very hard breaking when seeds doesn't germinate.

Arrived promptly. Didn't look like 475 seeds but they are very small. I sowed about 20 in a tray of compost as soon as they arrived and a few straight in the ground. I'll revisit this review in a few weeks to say what happened. Edit: 2 germinated!

Sown at recommended depth, temperature and moisture - not a single seed germinated. Packet states 475 seeds, but in reality about 50-60 at most. Buy cheap, buy twice I guess.
