Over time, I’ve also seen improvement in overall texture and a more even look to my skin. What I appreciate most is that it delivers results without causing irritation. I’ve been using the CeraVe Retinol Serum for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really pleased with the results. My skin looks smoother, and some of the texture and dark spots have noticeably improved. It's gentle compared to other retinols I’ve tried, which is a big plus if you have sensitive skin. That said, it did take some time to see visible changes, so don’t expect overnight results. I also experienced a bit of dryness and flaking at first, but it leveled out after a week or two with regular moisturizing. I love that it includes ceramides and niacinamide for added hydration and skin barrier support. The packaging is also clean and hygienic with a nice pump. Knocked off one star just because of the initial dryness and slow results, but if you stick with it, it's definitely worth it.

I'm getting on well with this. I dont always get on with Retinol but this is very gentle. I have sensitive skin but ive had no reactions to this at all. My pores look a lot smaller and my skin is definitely smoother. I would recommend and will definitely buy again.

Absolutely love this serum, it leaves your face feeling hydrated and smooth. Don’t expect wrinkles to disappear or anything magic, just know it’s a smooth solution that your face will love and another amazing fact is a little I mean a little goes a long way! It will last for a while! 10/10

Skin compatibility

Sinks into the skin, non greasy and leaves no residue. If you are looking to add retinol into your night time moisturising routine, you can’t go wrong with this product.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t seen a massive change from using this. It may well be helping in the background, but nothing has jumped out at me enough to make me think wow, this is definitely doing something. For £16, I don’t think it feels like amazing value, especially as the bottle is only 30ml and doesn’t last all that long. It’s one of those products where you look at the size and immediately become a lot more careful with every pump. That said, I’d probably still buy it again. Not exactly a glowing declaration of love, I know, but it might be one of those products that’s doing more than I realise. So while I’m not blown away by it, I’m not ready to completely write it off either.
