CeraVe Moisturising Cream for Face & Body for Dry to Very Dry Skin, 454g

I’ve been using CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for several weeks, and the results have been excellent. The cream is rich and hydrating without feeling greasy, and it keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day. It absorbs well, helps soothe dryness, and works great on both my face and body. I also appreciate that it’s fragrance-free and gentle enough for sensitive skin. After regular use, my skin feels softer, smoother, and much healthier. I've tried quite a few moisturisers over the years, and this is one I keep coming back to. It does a great job of hydrating dry skin without feeling greasy or overly heavy once it's absorbed. The cream is thick enough to feel nourishing, especially on drier areas like elbows, hands, and legs, but it also works well on the face. A little goes a long way, so the large tub lasts quite a while. I also like that it's fragrance-free. There are no strong perfumes or unnecessary scents, which makes it feel gentler and less irritating than many heavily fragranced alternatives. The texture can feel quite rich when first applied, so if you prefer very lightweight lotions it may take a little getting used to. The tub packaging is practical, although some people may prefer a pump dispenser for convenience. My skin feels noticeably softer and more comfortable when I use this regularly. It's one of those products that quietly does its job well without making big promises.

FINALLY a cream that doesn't irritate my face. I have slightly dry and sensitive skin (very fair, English rose type, I'm 43) and the area around my eyes gets itchy & red, especially if my eyes water. In fact it became so itchy & irritating that I actually had to give up moisturising and I even stopped wearing makeup. Yes I know, I hear you - moisturising your face is kinda important, plus I looked pretty with makeup, and I couldn't wear anything especially around my eyes, not even mascara! I don't wear loads, but wearing nothing at all honestly made me feel a little sad, I liked looking pretty. For years I've tried every single "sensitive" / "hypoallergenic blah, blah, blah" face moisturing product available at Boots. I spent a small fortune (arggh). Then I read these reviews and tried this (the CREAM in a tub, NOT the pump-dispensed Lotion) and... it hasn't irritated me! Omg, the joy of moisturising, and then a few days later, even better.. I applied Foundation & Mascara on top and my skin was still okay. This is cream, it's fairly thick, you don't need too much, or the excess will sit on your skin, it absorbs well, is non-greasy, unperfumed and leaves my skin feeling very soft & supple, plus it's not stupidly expensive. Maybe all this might all sound trivial to you, and yes it is just a "1st world" problem. But I also went through chemo and I lost all my hair too (amongst other things.. I was pregnant & engaged - yep, real heartbreaking time). Anyway, tonight I'm in Portugal for a week with my man, I applied this cream, followed by my makeup, and styled my curly hair... It's been a long while since my skin felt comfortable, and I saw myself looking pretty. Looking back at myself in the mirror I saw someone that I haven't seen for far too long.. and she was smiling back at me.

I bought this recently for my dry shins after years of using CeraVe’s face wash, and it’s become a staple. The cream is thick, and while it sits on the skin for a short while before fully soaking in, I find that’s what makes it feel so hydrating. Compared with the pump bottle lotion (which absorbs faster), this gives deeper, longer lasting moisture. The big tub is excellent value and lasts ages, even with daily use. I like that it’s fragrance free, gentle, and packed with ceramides and hyaluronic acid — exactly what you want in a moisturiser. If you’re dealing with dry or very dry skin and want a no-nonsense product that works, this is a brilliant choice.

I’ll admit I’m a sucker for fancy packaging and a bit of dodgy marketing that promises me the skin of a 20 year old despite my addiction to the sun. So moisturisers like this one have never really been on my radar. I always assumed they were a bit basic because they didn’t have a celeb endorsement or exotic sounding ingredients or words like ‘instant smoothing’ and ‘glowing’ all over the packaging. Anyway, my skincare snobbery recently came back to haunt me as after one dose of snail serum or something like it too many, my skin rebelled. Not just a mini pimple protest but a full on demonstration of eczema, red raw skin, itchiness, spots and acne. It won’t surprise you to learn that nothing in my bathroom cabinet came to my rescue. I didn’t want glowing skin, I just wanted skin that didn’t look like someone had taken a hot poker to it. I desperately searched the internet into the small hours and noted that this cerave moisturiser came up time and again. Basic and unscented for the win! So I ordered it in and slathered it on, and in very little time my skin became calmer and the pimples gave up their protest. However, reader, I’m ashamed to admit that I did not learn my lesson. Whilst grateful to this cream for coming to my rescue, I couldn’t wait to get back to my complicated and expensive skincare regime, and the promised land of glowing glass skin or whatever nonsense I was getting sucked back into. Thankfully though, I started to realise that not only had this cream calmed my skin, it was actually starting to feel great. Nourished, hydrated, smooth, more even. You know, the things that actually matter and are actually obtainable without heading to Harley street. I’m now on my third tub which takes some doing as the tubs are huge. Given the bargain price of this stuff, I love taking out large scoops in my fingers and whacking it generously over my face without worrying that spreading some onto my neck might cost the equivalent to half a months rent. And I know a tub isn’t glamorous but who cares when you can easily get every last bit out - unlike a tube where it’s frustratingly obvious that there’s still lots in there that just won’t come out. So all in all, it might look basic and boring, but in terms of actual results I’d swap it for snail slime, bee venom and seaweed any day

I'd almost given up on finding a moisturiser that worked for my skin. I'm 42 with sensitive, dehydrated skin, and after trying other products my face became very dry and peeled in large patches. It feels rich without being greasy, absorbs well, and hasn't irritated my sensitive skin at all. It's honestly the best my skin has looked in years, and I'm so glad I gave it a try. I'll definitely be repurchasing.

Best moisturiser ive ever used and ive tried lots of brands. Doesnt leave you feeling tacky like some but it leaves skin feeling soft. I will definitely buy again

All good. Price is also very reasonable. Came on time and did not have to wait for long delivery duration. Product came well too, no dmg. When using the product, it was very good on my skin. Works well as moisturizer.

Excelente producto, tiene una textura pesada, pero hidrata muy bien la piel, no tiene fragancia y no irrita la piel. Puede dejar la piel un poco oleosa.

Quand j'ai ouvert le pot de ce baume, j'ai immédiatement pensé que la texture ressemblait à des oeufs battus en neige! Et, tout de suite, j'ai pû constaté qu'aucune odeur s'en dégageait enfin , c'est pas toujours facile à trouver. J'ai donc essayé ce baume tout doux, et soudain, une fraîcheur agréable sur ma peau, quelques secondes après, aucun gras sur le visage, que de la douceur. Si vous aimé ces critères, nul doute que ce baume vous séduira, comme il m'a séduite !
