Decent piece of kit
Arrived as scheduled and looks good. Obviously has to be wired in. The waterproof gland was inside and seems a sturdy piece of kit. Not yet wired it up.

Rubbish Design - Consider Another Product
I ordered this socket to supply a hot tub. The connector has a top cable entry and knockouts at the back for a rear cable entry which I intended to use for neatness. The top cable entry came with a screw in bung which to my surprise had a cable entry hole in the top. Why on earth would anyone want a hole in the top seal if using a rear cable entry? If I’d wanted to use the top entry I would have drilled the hole myself. I have had to put some silicone sealant in the hole to stop water ingress which looks rubbish. I’ve used these type of sockets previously and none of them have this ‘feature’ I would suggest buying an alternative product.
