We are long time dehydrating people. Just look at us, we are dehydrated, no not really. We looked at a lot of machines and the price points, since we did not want to spend a lot right away due to our long hiatus from Dehydrating. The YYASHE Dehydrator had all the items we had discussed prior to looking for a machine. The Yasha fit all the points we were looking for. Size of trays, type of trays, watts of power, ease of use, and looks good in the room, timer, auto off, temperature, and dual fans. We have so far used it for Banana's, Apples, Strawberries (real tasty especially for cereal), Persimmons, and next Fruit leather and my favorite Pineapples. We have a long list to go. With the higher temperature available I am able to crisp the fruit which is great for some fruit. I should mention that the Yashee Food Dehydrator will heat as high as 165 degrees and for up to 72 hours. I cannot think of anything that would need more than that. The unit comes with several silicone sheets for fruit leather and screens for nonstick dehydrating. The photo shows the Yashe Dehydrator in action with the interior lights on and the fans working. The max temperature, and max time. This is a California JOE favorite purchase.

This dehydrator is fantastic I wanted to upgrade from my crappy plastic stacking dehydrator so I thought I would splurge. Some of the racks fit a little bit tight but it's not game breaking and it includes a silicone liner for every rack which is phenomenal. I primarily dry herbs and greens so can't say how it works with some thicker items but it works fantastic for what I've done so far.

I want to love this machine but it doesn't last very long. Bought Nov 2024...its Sept 25 now. It won't stay on for set time anymore. I set it for 20 hours and 3 hours later it's turned off. Sometimes it will go for 5 hours...its overheat function is tripping it to turn off. But it's not overheating. Dehydrating is economical if the stupid thing would work....not if I only get 11 months use. No customer support. Troubleshooting is dismal at best. I already have tried it all. Website listed in pamphlet is not operational. Buyer beware ..... $175 is a great price for a working product, but not a boat anchor.

This food dehydrator has made things so much easier for me. I've been using it regularly to make snacks for my puppies, like dried meat, and healthy treats for myself, such as apple slices. The multiple layers are super convenient, allowing me to dehydrate large batches all at once, which saves me a lot of times. It's also quiet and easy to clean; trays can be placed in the dishwasher, cuts down on clean up time.

This thing is slimmer, smarter, quieter and more enjoyable to use & clean than the Excalibur 9 tray I've been prizing for the last 5 years. The Yashe is SO quiet, has a light and the trays fit in the dishwasher. It's made of more durable materials, has a 72 hour timer and temperature in C and F. The trays are smaller, hence fitting in the sink & dishwasher. It feels like a definite upgrade, but cost less. So far, I'm impressed.

I made jerky in this. Only took about 3 hours to get Thick pieces of jerky. Super quiet & the sides & top don't get super hot.

Worked once, died two months later when we actually tried to dry some veggies. At first, I didn’t feel they would do anything about this, but I wrote this review that was a one star, and they refunded my entire purchase price without me doing anything. I am giving them four stars for taking responsibility, although I am not confident to purchase this again. The electrical pad seemed Iffy, and finally gave out. I’m not confident in the quality of the electronics of this device.

My dogs love and benefit from this purchase!! Dog treats and dog food are not as great as we believed for a long time. Now I take thinchicken strips, beef strips and dehydrate them for snacks. These are free of additives, and they love it! Also dehydrate chicken feet, gizzards, liver, smelt, tuna for them as a snack. Happy dogs, happy owner👍👍
