Hi, I'm 6' and tried LG &XLG based on reviews (about a us 6/8). The xl was long enough but waay too big. The LG was a bit shorter and still too big. I'm concerned that if I went to a med- the size that most likely would fit,..that they'd be ankle length 😕

I noticed that too and was very hesitant to buy them! But they were in the right spot on your center-cheeks area. I returned mine because they were a bit tighter than I like and sizing is a little off. But I would definitely buy again! The scrunch is very effective and cute!
