We use to have one of these in the tutoring center that i worked at. the old school metal screamer I have is old and nasty. This one heat up faster and doesn't make a mess of things. Its small and perfect. I keep it in my room when I need to make quick oats while I'm working. Its reliable in the sense that I don't have to watch it due to it turning off on its own. The safety switch is good so far. no leakage near max capacity. Can't say the same for its durability, it's glass after all.

I love this kettle!! My brother is autistic and drinks two large pitchers of tea a day. We would boil the water on the stove-HOWEVER there were times when we would walk off and leave it only to find it boiled down later! This kettle maybe saved our lives and our home. The only thing I wish it had was a signal as to when it shut off! There is a light on as it is working- then it shuts off when it is finished. Love this love this!!

This is a great product, it heats up the water in a short period of time 2-3 minutes or less. I have very hard water so It immediately left a scale deposit in the pot but it still works great. They include a sponge on a stick to help clean your pot. The led lights turn on when you start the pot and if it shuts itself off the lights go off also. It is fairly loud when heating you definitely know when its boiling.

These are the best electric kettles! Pretty, efficient, great value. Sent this to cousin in WY - she told me she loves it! We bought one so we know how great it is.

This kettle keeps hot even when it is off .. i need to plug it out every time I use it.. i have never seen boiler like this ..uses electricity even when it is off.

My water boiler died after msny years. This served the purpose of boiling water.

This kettle worked absolutely perfectly and I adored it. After almost 2 years, though, the automatic shut-off feature failed. I called the vendor and they said that was unusual; it shouldn't do that; and they are shipping me a new kettle at no cost to replace the original one. That is really good customer service and I am grateful. Would I recommend the pot? Definitely, yes. I've had others in the past, but this one has been the most reliable and the one I've liked best, plus the vendor backed the item 100%, which is wonderful.

I bought it because the description stated 1000W. However, that low power consumption only applies when operating on a 110V power supply. When connected to 220V, the power consumption is much higher. This was not what I expected based on the listing. The product description was incorrect/misleading.

Der Wasserkocher schaltet nicht ab, wenn er irrtümlich leer angeschaltet wurde. Zwar greift ein Thermoschutz, aber der Wasserkocher ist die ganze Nacht wieder angegangen, wenn der Thermoschutz abgekühlt war. Ich kenne mich mit der aktuellen Normung nicht aus, aber das Bauchgefühl sagt, dass der Wasserkocher nicht erneut aufheizen sollte
