Durable, low maintenance, great value
I've had the large size ttukbaegi (without lid) for a few months now, using it almost daily on a gas stove and running it through the dishwasher after every use, and it is holding up perfectly. Carelessly using ceramic soup spoons and steel utensils, there isn't the slightest indication of wear in the surface finish - it still looks brand new. The wide format makes it suitable for all kinds of cooking tasks, from boiling instant ramyun to simmering and serving a stew, cooking rice or even browning meat. It is really thick and quite heavy, and retains heat for a long time. The trivet is really nice, perfectly fits the base of the vessel and holds it securely. I also own a really fancy ttukbaegi straight from Korea that costs 4 times the price, but I like this thing so much, I bought a second one. This is a great bargain for the quality you're getting.

Amazing bowl
I bought them abouti(ish) 3 years ago for our home, and the quality is AMAZING. We still have them, and they look like I just bought them. The durability is excellent, and they hold up perfectly with regular use. They are also dishwasher safe, which makes them even better. I highly recommend these bowls if you’re looking for something high quality and long lasting.

Exceeded my expectations
This is a beautiful and well made pot. The medium is the perfect size for 2 servings. Ideal for kimchi stew or steamed eggs (and lots of other things, too, but it does such a good job I just keep making kimchi stew and steamed eggs)! Read the instructions before using and always start it on low heat for a few minutes before raising the temp so it won’t crack. I use some oil or cooking spray so food doesn’t stick, which makes it super easy to clean. Please don’t be nervous about the plastic trivet. It REALLY will not melt. It’s thick and heat resistant at the temperatures used for cooking in this pot. Used as directed, I have no doubt this will last for many years. From the pictures, I wasn’t sure whether I would like the color, but in person, it is lovely. If you’re looking for a great gift for someone who enjoys cooking Korean food, you can’t go wrong with this.

Clean Right After Use
Nice bowl, be aware do not leave anything in it, like soup, it will stick like glue to the inside of the bowl. Best to clean it right away by hand.

Beautifully made!
I'm no cook, but I sure do love my doenjang and kimchi jjigae. It's so well made and feels super premium. Even after I take the stone bowl off the stove and take my sweet time to take it to the table, and finally sit down to eat, when I take the lid off, the jjigae is STILL boiling as if it's still on the stove!! Needless to say, my soup stays satisfying hot for the entire duration of my delicious meal. I just LOVE this thing. The icing on the cake is that it's easy for even someone like me to care for and wash. Just handle it with care, follow the directions and guidelines, and this should last you a lifetime. Finally, I'm not sure if it's just a placebo effect, but I swear my jjigaes taste SO much better! :D

perfect for my new favorite breakfast
this little dish is the perfect size for an individual portion of Korean steamed eggs. It is very sturdy, easy to clean and can be used on any stove cooktop. For an individual portion, I mix one large egg with 1/4 cup chicken broth -you may add sliced green onions or chives, and a dash of gochugaru, also sold by Crazy Korean cooking on Amazon. Heat over low medium heat for about six minutes or until done to your liking -a splash of sesame oil is a nice touch! I like the fact that this comes with the trivet because this dish is very hot after steaming the egg. Pay attention to the size of the dish when you order. This is perfect for preparing steamed eggs, but would also work with bibimbap, soondubu, or other dishes. Money well spent!

Great pot for 1 or 2 people!!
Received my pot and it came perfect. No cracks or breaks. It's actually a good size for one or two people. I purchased a smaller pot from a local shop and it's definitely smaller for single serving. Thus pot is beautifully crafted and designed. It is a bit pricey over ones i found in local stores. But I'm still happy with it. Package came in a nice box that makes a great gift to someone.

A bowl fit for kings.
I don't normally write reviews, but after I ordered my second bowl, I felt like this product was worth it. I first got one of the large bowls about a year and a half ago. I have since used and abused the hell out of it and it's still pretty much as nice as it was when I first got it. Since telling you it's a nice bowl doesn't really do it justice, I figured I'd mention a few of the activities it has survived. Cooking multiple times a week - I don't mean adding hot product or anything like that. I live in a small apartment and I don't have a normal stove, so I use a hotplate to cook with. I just throw the bowl on the coil and it heats up and cooks the food no problem. I've cooked everything from eggs, to stirfry, to ramen in it with no problems. Bean Hell - I once fell asleep while warming up some beans on the stove in this bowl, and woke up about 6 hours later to a room filled with smoke and the smell of burnt beans. The beans by this point were less a vegetable and more charcoal than anything else. Bowl took no damage from the extended heating session and I was able to completely clean out the cement like interior with only minimal soaking and scraping. My apartment by contrast smelled of burnt beans for months afterwards. Cooking the Plate - The plate is made out of a heavy plastic. In my infinite wisdom and attentiveness, I once placed the plate on the hotplate with the bowl on top of that. I eventually figured it out when trying to figure out what was causing the awful smell in my apartment. I figured something had gotten stuck to the coils or something. No, I'm just an idiot. The plate survived, though the coils did leave a faint impression on the bottom of the plastic where the plate had been sitting. To clarify, using the bowl/plate combo normally does not cause it to smell nor does it leave impressions on the plate. It's only when you decide to cook the plate that this becomes a thing. In addition, I will add that in spite of being plastic, there was no melting or deformation caused by the heating. So yeah. Looks great, cleans up easily, and survives most trials that you might run into. While I probably wouldn't recommend dropping the bowl on a cement floor, I definitely would recommend picking one up.
