HUMTTO Men's Amphibious Water Shoes - Hiking Sandals for Men Outdoor Water Sandal Closed Toe Non-Slip River Shoes Summer Quick Drying Aqua Shoe

Bought these shoes (along with a pair of Merrell Gore-TEX Moab Speed 2 GTX) for a three-week trip through some pretty eclectic weather and terrain. I selected these over some much more expensive brands and was very happy with my decision. I typically wear a size 11 athletic shoe (I measure a 10.5), but the 11–11.5 Humtto shoes were way too large and good not get a good fit. I returned that pair, and downsized to the 10.5. They fit me perfectly. Before leaving on the trip I used them to work out at the gym and do some light hiking. They were first seriously tested in the Amazon. The soles provide pretty darn good traction, and they can be worn with or without socks. Because of their hiking and quick drying capabilities, I ended up using these shoes about 50% of the trip. They look great, are comfortable, can be adjusted for fit, and have a decent (medium) arch and heel padding. They are not zero drop from heel to toe, but pretty close. The EVA midsole and memory foam insole for cushioning is great, but do not make the mistake I made by heating it on a heater to accelerate drying. It warped the insole a bit (they are still usable). These are great and survived some pretty extensive testing throughout Peru and Ecuador. If you are stepping into some pretty questionable conditions, these sure are a great back up to your hiking shoes when it may get sloshy and dry shoes are required for the next day.

These orange and black sneakers (summer water shoes) have completely exceeded my expectations! I've been wearing them every single day for the past week without socks, and they stay remarkably comfortable and breathable. They don't get too sweaty even during extended wear, which is a huge plus in the summer heat. The comfort level is outstanding — I've taken them on several multi-mile walks, and my feet felt great the whole time with no blisters or fatigue. The fit is just right, and the quick-drying, water-friendly design makes them perfect for everything from casual outings to light water activities. Bonus: The vibrant orange and black color scheme matches my Samsung watch perfectly, which was a fun little detail I didn't expect to love so much. I've already suggested them to friends and family — highly recommend if you're looking for versatile, lightweight summer sneakers! Would buy again without hesitation.

UPDATE: After a month I like these shoes even more. I wear them almost every day. They continue to be excellent and have minimal wear. Earlier review follows here: I have only been wearing these for a few days so I may have to revise the review over time, but so far these shoes are absolutely outstanding. If you owned and enjoyed the original Salomon TechAmphibians, later ruined with new designs by the maker, these are their natural heirs. I took a chance on these shoes since the design is very similar. They are lightweight and comfortable and they provide great footbed support whether loose or tightly laced. Like the early TechAmphibians, they also have the cool feature of a collapsing heel upper, allowing their use as slides. They are also half the price that the Salomons sold even 10 or more years ago. The sole has an aggressive tread pattern and is quite grippy wet or dry. I measure as 10.5 D on the shoe size device but almost no shoes in that size fit me in the last few years. I got the 11-11.5 size first but it was swimming on me. 10.5 fits well with a bit of extra room so I can wear them with or without socks.

I got 2 pairs of these specifically for a water rafting trip. The first pair was a little large, so I went down a half size ( and gave the larger pair to my son). They are comfortable, even for wide feet - although after a long day of use in the water, there was some chaffing on the outsides of my feet. It loosened up a bit across my wide foot, after getting wet. These worked great! They have adjustable strap across the back, that pulls tight on the outside. the laces are elastic and tighten by pulling and then pushing the stopper down onto the laces. They didn't slip (loosen) but, to get them tight, I had excessive amount of laces hanging out (had to tuck them into the tongue.

I’m generally a “Name Brand” guy when it actually carries anticipated quality. There were no reasonably priced shoes like this from the big names so I took a chance. So glad I did. I have plenty of other water shoes that feel more like socks glued to a hard rubber bottom. These look, fit, and feel like a nice pair of sneakers. Comfortable for a full day of walking. Drained water easily and immediately. Insoles are comfortable and remove easily for a quick rinse to remove sand and silt. Not available in wide widths so I ordered 1 full size up and they fit perfectly. Would definitely buy again.

I’m very impressed thus far. Very comfortable, good looking, quality, and affordable. I’ve walked just under 7 miles these past few days and these water shoes are very comfortable. No break in needed. I’m anxious to take them up to the high country in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in a few weeks. The bonus is they are very affordable. I had a pair of Salomon water shoes that I finally wore out. To replace they’d be $180-$220! Even if these aren’t as durable, (but I believe they are), I can get 4 pairs of these compared to the Salomon’s. I’ll always have the latest style at a fraction of the price.

My 2nd pair of this brand. These are awesome. Easy to come off and get on. They stay cool in the summer, they are comfortable with or without socks. I use them in lake and pool, and they still look new. Very inexpensive, and for a change they look actually nicer in person than in the photos. I dont know how they would be doing any athletics but for everything else, including walking a lot and standing for hours, they worked great.

I got these right before a trip to Costa Rica where we would be doing a lot of hiking, some tubing, and be in and out of water. They felt great when I first tried them on and I was optimistic. Our first day, we hiked a total of about 5 miles in the forest and along a river, with some swimming in pools throughout the hike. These weren't difficult trails, but a mix of gravel, rock, dirt, etc. The shoes felt fantastic and were comfortable all day. Later that evening, after they had mostly dried out, we did another mile or so to some other pools and I had no problem. During that hike I was so happy I was actually talking to my kids about what great things I was going to say in a review. The following day however, as soon as I put on the sandals, just walking to the hotel pool, the top of the shoe, just above my big toes, was bending and rubbing against my toes. It was very noticeable and I took them off and made sure there was no sand or anything else causing the irritation. I had no other choice that day and we ended up back on a similar trail, hiking a total of about 1.5 miles, with it rubbing against my toes the entire time. I tried both tightening and loosening the shoes and changing my stride to step more flat footed so they wouldn't bend at the back of my step, but that didn't help. Neither did getting them wet again, hoping to soften something up. By the time we were half way through that hike, there were visible raw spots on top of both my big toes. By the time we were done, they had become sores and very painful. The following day, we walked on the sidewalk to breakfast about three blocks away and it hurt bad enough that I found a store and bought a pair of flip-flops instead. I haven't worn the sandals since. I can't tell exactly what's going on inside the shoe, but I think the leathery part of the shoe is pushing down at the natural break in the toe area when I step, and the mesh is rubbing. Since I've worn them outside and been swimming in them, I can't return them, but they're basically useless after one good day.
