Are these pods compostable?

No they're not. I mentioned this in my review. I wouldn't order them again for that reason. Far too much plastic going to landfill, so I would stick with original Lavazza pods which are made from compostable corn starch.

What strength the red ones? I like strong for cappuccino. There are purple ones too but no strenght number. Thanks.

I would use 2 capsules at least. This coffee is OK but not really strong enough for my taste and the crema is poor. I have no idea what the purple ones are like, sorry.
