Much better than I expected!
I wasn't sure really what to expect from this little black box from a company I'd never heard of before. But I can say I am pleasantly surprised. The 4Stream app doesn't need you to create an account which is refreshing. You load it to your phone and follow the prompts to connect the S10+. Once done, you have a very nice interface to stream your music. It does have Bluetooth which connects quickly and has good range. But if you want more range and better quality, use the WiFi setting. Then you can do other things on your phone while music plays and get superior range. Using this adds streaming ability to my vintage stereo setup and I couldn't be more happy with it. Highly recommended.

A Slick and Affordable Whole-Home Audio Solution
This little streaming receiver is a pretty slick piece of hardware for the price. In my setup, it acts as a primary audio source for a whole-home sound system. It is incredibly convenient to plug it in and immediately start casting music directly from an iPhone via AirPlay, or point it toward a local NAS (Network Attached Storage) drive to stream an entire digital music library across the house. For anyone looking to modernize an older stereo receiver or power an multi-room audio zone on a budget, it handles the basics beautifully and delivers impressive, high-definition lossless sound quality. However, the device does come with a couple of strange and frustrating drawbacksโespecially if you are trying to use it within an Android ecosystem. It is completely bizarre that the product listing still heavily advertises the "4STREAM" mobile app for system management when that software is no longer available or supported on the latest versions of Android. If you are an Android user, you will likely hit a wall trying to find the official app. I did manage to find a workaround by using the "Go Control" app, which got the device up and running, but it is a major oversight worth noting before you buy. Beyond the app headache, the actual casting support is a bit limited; while it nails iOS streaming, it won't natively cast from Android devices the same way it does with AirPlay. If you can look past the quirky software situation and the lack of native Android casting, the physical unit itself is solid. It features a great selection of outputs including an SPDIF optical port for a clean digital signal, standard Bluetooth, and convenient physical touch buttons on the unit. It is a fantastic, compact streaming puck, just be prepared for some weird software hurdles if you aren't fully in the Apple ecosystem.

A Huge Improvement Over the S10 and Priced Better Than the Wiim Mini Streamer
What an improvement over the Arylic S10. For me, the addition of the optical digital out is what makes this streamer competitive with the Wiim Mini. I like the buttons on the top which not only have short-press functionality but also long-press functions, as well. The front LED icons are far superior to the S10 and dust the Wiim, which has no display. If you prefer, you can use a wired Ethernet connection instead of the WiFi connection, which you can't do with the Wiim Mini. I haven't yet listened to the Arylic's internal DAC, not have I listened to the Wiim Mini's DAC, which I have 2. I have these streamers connected to Topping DACs at different locations and both sound the same feeding their streams to the same 2 Topping E30 model. For the price, with the Arylic S10+ you get a more refined design, more connectivity options, more top button functions, and a remote control that's very functional and not thrown in for marketing purposes. Even though I have 2 Wiim Minis, If the Arylic was available when I bought the Wiims, I would have definitely opted for the Arylic S10+. More for Less.

The app you need is not available to download.
I was really looking forward to testing and reviewing this WiFi media streamer because I have an older, but really good sounding bookshelf sound system. I was hoping I could keep using my older sound system with this Arylic S10+ device along with my Amazon Music Unlimited subscription and be able to control my music from my phone. I had to deduct 4 stars dues to the fact that when I searched for the 4Stream app I needed for this device on the Google Play Store, it said that it was not available for my device and only available for an older version of Android. I have an older Samsung Galaxy S23+ so it's an older phone, but its up to date on the newest and required Android updates. Being that I cannot download and install the 4Stream app, I'm unable to test devices quality and any of its features. It's a little frustrating because the whole point of this device was to be connected to my Wifi and control the music with my phone. The only way I could connect to this device was through Bluetooth. It does works through Bluetooth, but defeats the whole purpose of this WiFi media streaming device. Since it's connected via Bluetooth, I have to remain at a certain distance from the device, which doesn't work for me. At the current price point, you can find many other cheaper Bluetooth devices if that is the way you want to connect your music through your stereo. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Arylic S10+, especially if they will not keep up to date on app updates. This is not a good value if you cannot download and install the app. I'll keep checking back with the App store to see if that changes, but for now, this is probably going in the junk pile.

Versatile Audio Streamer with Multi-room capability
This box is a bridge between the digital music world and an amplifier you already own. It could work with a stereo system, PA system, or even just a pair of powered PC speakers via the auxiliary input. You can cast, stream, and playback digital music in a variety of ways: built-in services, Airplay, Bluetooth, USB, and other methods. Audio is delivered from the S10+ via analog or optical digital outputs. I use a music player app on my PC to send music to the Arylic via UPnP. It can also connect directly to a PC via USB. I've found the audio sounds great, and brings new life to my vintage stereo setup. POSITIVES: I was able to set it up via the 4STREAM app in under 10 minutes. No account logins or subscription fees were required to use it (unless needed by a streaming service). Pushing music content to it works very well. If you buy more than one of these devices, you can re-name them something meaningful (i.e. "Office" or "Patio") for easy identification and control from the app. You can create groups in the app to perform synchronized multi-room playback of whatever music source you are hearing. I've successfully linked this device with an Arylic I already owned and am happy with the result. One great advantage of the versatility of the device is the app is not required once the device is set up - Arylic provides an infrared remote with presets and basic controls on the device itself which you means you don't need to find your phone to start the music. The device itself is lightweight and tiny, and can be hidden unobtrusively among your stereo components. NEGATIVES: The application, 4STREAM, gets the job done but it can be clunky to use. It's also worth noting that Arylic has multiple product lines and some use a different app, so if you are going the multi-room route be sure to select a compatible product.

Like the BR10, but with streaming and Airplay
In my mind, this is very much like the BR10, even down to the build quality and chassis. The difference is the added streaming ability which can really improve the sound quality by skipping Bluetooth (though it has that too). So, below is my review of the BR10 since it also applies here. Just remember to add in easy streaming and a decent app as well: Arylic makes good products that are often not overly expensive for what they are. This is another one of those items. A BT receiver with USB DAC functionality. It even has a control application for more features. The price is lower than other receivers with fewer features. It sounds good and it quite the bargain, though it is made of plastic a feels a touch cheap. Understandable considering the price and feature set.

Nice Concept, Poor App And Interface
This unit has potential to access music from my NAS drive (and the reason why I got it) but it's poor interface and App was really disappointing! One good thing was it hooked up to my network very easy via CAT6 and Wirelessly. As I mentioned, the App is very poor to maneuver through. You can only set the six presets on the remote to certain music stations or playlists and not to a specific folder on my NAS drive containing a particular genre of music. But without the ability to see what you want to play by using the App, the remote is pretty much limited! I really wanted to like this Arylic S10+ AirPlay Audio Receiver. But after hours of first trying to get this to connect with my NAS drive and after it finally did, the sound quality wasn't what I expected. I disconnected it from my network and I'd rather just use the Bluetooth on my iPhone or iPad just play music through my Bluetooth speaker with better control and sound quality!

Limited uses
This works for internet streaming using the app. If you have to use the app why not just stream from your phone? So you have to stream from your phone to this device and then connect this device to your amplifier or amplified speakers. You can't just use the remote control. It won't let you choose streaming services. You have to use the app for that. I tried to connect it to my music server through the app, My server is DLNA compliant but still I couldn't see it or connect. The Arylic website shows using an app called goconnet. This app allows you to change volume settings and has a graphic equalizer but will not allow you to access streaming services. To access streaming services you need another app called 4stream. I think this need improvement to the software applications. This might work for your use case but it didn't work for mine.

Take any old receiver and bring it to full modern capabilities
Bought this as a present for good friends. They were still connecting their phone to their old receiver with a cable. Old school on one hand but also limiting on the other. Now, they can Spotify connect to the receiver without really being connected. It's also great for them it has Lan connection. This is a great improvement in their life. In a "Weird" way, this is one of the cheapest option today. I still use an way old Chromecast Audio, which had cost be back in the day friction of the cost. But of course, it's more limited and the connection quality is of a different level.

Great alternative to expensive airplay receivers in the market.
The product is a great alternative to expensive airplay adapters for the amp.I am quite satisfied with itโs use as it enables to stream music directly to my amp from any corner of my house till the time I am connected to Wi-Fi. This is value for money device and have good built quality. Plus, the equaliser feature helps take best output from the speakers. I am using it with JBL libra 150 amp and 4 24CT JBL speaker. You can always give it a try without giving it a second thought.
