This is the best marinading sauce I have ever used. You want to make delicious spam musubis, just fry the spam and add Mr. Yoshida’s sauce. You’ll get mouth watering, truly Hawaiian tasting musubi. For a quick veggie stir fry, just add a few tablespoons of Mr Yoshida sauce and you’ve got a quick, crunchy side dish. The possibilities are endless. The thickness of the sauce is perfect as is the flavor. The quality of this sauce surpasses other brands I have tried.

This stuff is really good. I couldn't find it in any stores recently and when I investigated the reason, it was because the family sold the business to Heinz foods, which proceeded to make it disappear for whatever reasons. But, as always, you let huge corporations take over stuff and it is guaranteed to be ruined. I could go on.... KitchenAid stand mixers comes to mind...but I digress. I read where the family has bought it back again and let's hope that stores will restock it. Anyway, it's sweet, it's thick.... it has a unique flavor that goes well with a lot of stuff. Mix with soy sauce or traditional BBQ sauce.... a lot you can play with. Bottom line, it's good stuff. Great for sushi and stir fry, but I mixed with Worchester sauce and a few other things and makes a good topping for steaks, too. Experiment.

This sauce is the best and I have missed it! I did not realize what had happened, only that it was unavailable in the stores. Japanese BBQ sauce is a staple where I live and I am happy that it is available again for the easiest "Shoyu Chicken"...chicken thighs, Mr Yoshida sauce to cover, cook until the chicken is done, then thicken the sauce with some cornstarch/water, add sliced, green onion...done! Goes well on top of rice. I am also thrilled that the recipe for the sauce hasn't changed! It still tastes the same!

I used to purchase Mr. Yoshida's at Costco and my family and I all loved it. I tried to find replacements for it when Costco no longer carried it but none of them measured up. This is my second order of it from Amazon and I'm grateful to find it. This is a highly flavorful Asian sauce on the sweet side. I have used it on meats, seafoods and vegetables for a great Asian flair. I suggest some caution if using as a marinade followed by high heat cooking such as a grill. The sugar content in this sauce will tend to caramelize and will easily char. I tend to brush it on near the end of cooking and you still get great flavor.

Yoshida’s is the best marinade for steaks there is. I put my steaks I buy on sale in food saver bags, pour in Yoshida’s and suck the air out. Then freeze. Let them thaw when you want them and the flavor is all the way through. My 1 1/2” steaks are as tender as can be. The taste is fantastic. No sauces used in our house. Just wished Sam’s still carried it. Can’t find it in stores here either. So I’ll order it. They’re sealed good and never leaked. Get ya some. Great on anything that hits the grill.

This is the BEST teriyaki marinade in the entire world! I get so many compliments when I make chicken teriyaki with this. I refuse to use any other sauce. I take defrosted chicken thighs or breast and put it in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade into the bag the morning I am going to make it for dinner.

This stuff is great, a bit of a bridge between Japanese teriyaki and American teriyaki. Sweet. But not too sweet!
