SHELANDY 45" Pet Grooming Bathtub Dog Wash Station | Heavy Duty Bathing Tub (Bathtub & Stairs Combo)

This wash tub for my dogs has made husbandry activities like bathing so much easier! The tub and stairs are made of thick plastic, it is sturdy and easy to put together. The tub is a perfect height and no more crouching over the bath tub in the house, no more blocking the drain with dog hair, and no more rock paper scissors competition with my husband on who is sitting in the bathroom tub to keep the dog in there for a bath! This has paid for itself in the time and effort that goes into washing 3 farm dogs let alone the cost of visiting a professional groomer. Don't get me wrong we had to do some training to get the dogs comfortable going up the steps and I to the tub but the clips to secure the dog helped make it so this was a one person activity. I like that I could put a lick mat with treats on the side of the tub to help make bath time a better expericence for my dog. The tub is easy to clean and remove hair from the drain, and the drainage tube allows for you to move the tub to a different location or drain. The holder for shampoo, conditioner etc or holding the shower head was a functional and thoughtful design feature of the doggy bath. This has been great value for money even though it was expensive initially it had made dog washing faster and less chaotic. The tub is big so you will need to think about where to store this. Currently using it outside for dog washing but it will need to be stored for winter and to keep it out of direct sunlight.

I have a Standard Poodle, Panda Shepherd, and Labradoodle, all are long in length, heavy, and fairly tall. The depth /length of tub is fine for them, plenty of room to reach the paws. The reviews are correct about the sturdiness and quality, both are great! The steps are awesome, and both the tub and steps have raised grips so no sliding, none of my dogs had a problem getting in or out. The tie downs are fine and the cross tie is fantastic! I set my tub up in the basement because of concrete floor and run the drain hose into the sump pump. Some reviews say the tub drain is too small but I appreciate that it stops the hair from going into the pump. My shepherd sheds something fierce when getting bathed and with the small drain I keep pulling the hair from the drain and I use the the shampoo cup to throw the hair in, then when finished I wipe the cup out with paper towel and throw hair and paper towel in garbage, couldn't get any easier! The gate works well at keeping the dog from backing up. I like the shampoo mitt that comes with the tub, does a great job on my shepherd. Excellent purchase !!

I've been using this for a year and wanted to add my thoughts. While there are some areas this product could be improved (see below) overall I'm very pleased. It's very stable (even when my 50lb dog wiggles and shakes!) and a height that prevents back in pain from stooping. I had this installed in my basement over an extra laundry drain, and in addition to washing my dog biweekly, I use it multiple times a week for general cleaning. Turns out, it's SUPER helpful to have an xxl, table-height wash basin next to my washing machine. It's where I hand wash delicate clothing, deep water houseplants, and also where I brush my dog- since the edges aren't too high to keep me from easily brushing 90% of his body. Issues: 1. The drain was VERY slow due to the plastic grid molded over the drain hole. I knocked out the grid with a chisel and hammer and it now drains at a reasonable rate. 2. The gate cannot be in place while the steps are in place. This creates a bit of a problem in workflow. Also, if there's any water in the channel when you add the gate, there's a gross spray of water when the gate pops into place!

It's a good product. Sturdy easy to assemble. Big enough for our lab.

Worked well for my (130 lb) great pyr mix doggo. As other reviews mention, the drain grating is far too small and blocks water draining, any pet fur clogs it immediately. If you have a utility knife you can easily trim out the plastic grate (it has 4 contact points) and trim it up so it looks like it was never there. The drain function of the tub then improves quite a bit. The drain is only 1" wide, so you'd have to have a very small dog for it to need the drain grate cover. This is nitpicking, since it is the ONLY thing I find at all not great about the product. The folding legs are a nice improvement versus other brands, it makes it a lot easier to turn this onto its end and shove it into a corner when you aren't using it. The included long drain hose with retaining clip is a nice touch to provide a way to not end up standing in the water from the tub draining. The steps just slot into the tub entry and can stay in place, and the included back door panel to enclose the tub is useful for the dog to feel more contained. The included collar isn't quite large enough for dogs over 100lbs, but the clip point works just fine for my dog's normal collar.

Struggled washing my 77lb dog who needed a good wash a few times a week due to old age and skin problems. My back was not happy bending over for prolonged periods and this is a game changer! Pros: Sturdy, easy setup, durable and the washing glove works amazingly to get a good scrub. Cons: Wish the drain hole was bigger however it’s still doable. Nothing I would fuss too much about. Don’t second guess…. I could easily see this wash tub lasting quite a few years. Yeah it’s pricey but how much is your back worth lol.

Very happy with the dog tub. I have a 4 month old Akita and she was miserable to wash in the tub. The second I put her in the tub she seemed more calm. The tub comes pre assembled with the legs which is awesome. I took the tub out of the box flipped the legs out and it was ready to go. The collar that is attached is in a perfect spot to walk around the tub while washing your pet. The stairs are sturdy and the gate is a nice touch. Folds up nicely to be stored Highly recommend

This product is AWESOME!! I have 2 standard poodles that I groom myself (crazy I know). This has been so helpful in getting them squeaky clean while alleviating back pain from leaning over and bending down to get them washed. I love that there is a collar attachment to keep them in place. The hose attachment works well to keep the water from pooling by my feet. Highly recommend to any dog owners out there!
